Video showing the removal of a tattoo.
Tattoo removal refers to all the processes used to eliminate a permanent tattoo.
The removal can be done for several reasons: regret, a final result different from the intended, for professional reasons or because the reason for which it was done has lost its meaning. In view of this growing need to remove tattoos, it was necessary to create a technique for removing this pigment, which on the one hand is safe, and on the other, which produces a selective removal for each type of pigment, with minimal risk of healing.

Currently, lasers developed for tattoo removal are safe and guarantee good results. The most used lasers for this purpose are: Laser Nd: YAG Q-Switched and Alexandrite Q- Switched laser.
This combination of technologies allows the elimination of tattoos of all colors, in all skin phototypes.

In the hair transplant surgery, the doctor removes the follicular units from a healthy area of the scalp (donor area) and transfers them to the receiving area. After careful planning, the surgeon makes small holes in which the follicular units are to be inserted, respecting the natural direction of the growth of the hair. The procedure is carried out on the scalp and guarantees a speedy recovery and the patient usually gets discharged on the same day of the procedure. The patient returns to his normal routine after a few days, just with the care to avoid the sun and intense physical effort for the next 30 days.

Cholera is an acute diarrhoeal disease that can kill within hours if left untreated.
Researchers have estimated that each year there are 1.3 million to 4.0 million cases of cholera, and 21 000 to 143 000 deaths worldwide due to cholera (1).
Up to 80% of cases can be successfully treated with oral rehydration solution (ORS).
Severe cases will need rapid treatment with intravenous fluids and antibiotics.
Provision of safe water and sanitation is critical to control the transmission of cholera and other waterborne diseases.
Safe oral cholera vaccines should be used in conjunction with improvements in water and sanitation to control cholera outbreaks and for prevention in areas known to be high risk for cholera.
A global strategy on cholera control with a target to reduce cholera deaths by 90% was launched in 2017.
