Iran's Ambassador to Islamabad, Reza Amiri Moghadam, has revealed Iran's readiness to extend affordable offers to Pakistan, including gas, electricity, and oil. During a dinner event, Ambassador Reza Amiri Moghadam shared that plans for direct flights connecting the capitals of Iran and Pakistan are in progress. The two nations have exchanged formal proposals, and Pakistan has expressed its agreement, pending Cabinet approval, to initiate these flights.

In addition, the ambassador highlighted discussions between Iran and Pakistan regarding the extension of the "fifth freedom" facility to Iran's four airlines, reciprocated by a similar privilege for Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) in Iran. Currently, flights operate between Lahore, Karachi, and Mashhad.

Addressing the potential of a gas pipeline link between the two countries, Ambassador Reza Amiri Moghadam acknowledged the challenges posed by US sanctions. He emphasized the need to devise a solution that enables Pakistan's access to the gas pipeline while navigating around any obstacles.

Acknowledging Pakistan's energy scarcity situation, Ambassador Reza Amiri Moghadam underscored Iran's willingness to assist by offering cost-effective gas, electricity, and oil solutions.
