Condolence on the Sad Demise of Retired Captain Dr. Muhammad Yaseen
It is with profound grief and deep sorrow that I extend my heartfelt condolences on the sad demise of Retired Captain Dr. Muhammad Yaseen, a distinguished ENT Specialist of Allama Iqbal Memorial Teaching Hospital, Sialkot.
Dr. Yaseen was a truly special person - an amazing doctor and an even more amazing human being. He spent his life helping others, and his dedication to his work was inspiring. People who worked with him, learned from him, and were treated by him all thought the world of him because of his exceptional skills, his kindness, and his gentle way with everyone. The hospital and the entire field of ENT will always be grateful for what he did, and we will remember him with huge admiration.
We're deeply saddened by the loss and our hearts go out to the family. May they find comfort in their faith and may the departed soul rest in peace. The staff and administration of Allama Iqbal Memorial Teaching Hospital are thinking of them during this difficult time and we hope they can find the strength to cope with their grief.
He will always be remembered and stay in our thoughts and prayers.

Visit of Worthy Commissioner Gujranwala Mr. Muhammad Ali to Allama Iqbal Memorial Teaching Hospital, Sialkot

The Medical Superintendent’s Office of Allama Iqbal Memorial Teaching Hospital had the honor of hosting Worthy Commissioner Gujranwala Division, accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Sialkot Saba Asghar Ali and Additional Deputy Commissioner (G) Naeem Bashir.

During the visit, the delegation reviewed key hospital departments, assessed ongoing healthcare services, and discussed measures to further enhance patient care and administrative efficiency. The Medical Superintendent briefed the distinguished guests on current initiatives, challenges, and future development plans of the hospital.

The honorable guests appreciated the efforts of the hospital administration and staff in providing quality healthcare services to the public. They emphasized the importance of continued improvements in service delivery, infrastructure, cleaning and patient facilitation.

Honourable Principal KMSMC, Dr. Huma Kayani, and Respected Medical Superintendent AIMTH, Dr. Abdul Rehman Tariq Ch, inaugurated the two newly built cafeterias at Govt. Allama Iqbal Memorial Teaching Hospital, Sialkot on Tuesday, April 28, 2026.

The facilities include “Old Tree Café” for doctors and hospital staff, and a separate cafeteria for patients’ attendants.

A formal meeting was held today 25/04/2026 with Khawaja Asif Along with Principal Prof. Dr. Huma Kayani Saighol, Respected Board Members Khizer Hayat, Tehreem Altaf Rana as per advice of Chaiman Board Babar Iqbal Esq regarding the forthcoming inauguration of the 300-bedded Teaching Hospital, Sialkot. During the meeting, matters pertaining to the operational readiness, healthcare services expansion, and arrangements for the inauguration ceremony were discussed in detail.

The Honourable Minister appreciated the efforts of the hospital administration and health department in establishing a modern healthcare facility aimed at strengthening tertiary care services in Sialkot and adjoining areas. He emphasized the significance of the hospital in improving access to quality medical education, specialized treatment, and patient care.

It was agreed that the inauguration of the 300-bedded Teaching Hospital will mark a significant milestone in the healthcare infrastructure of the region. The project is expected to enhance service delivery, support clinical training, and contribute to the advancement of public health.

The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to ensuring successful commencement of hospital services and making the institution a center of excellence for healthcare and medical education.
