Pakistan Minorities Alliance - PMA has observed 2nd workers convention in Azad Jamo Kashmir (AJK) in District Bhimber. Organized by Ch. Samuel Bhatti Senior Member PMA, Ch. William Annayat District President PMA Bhimber, Ch. Boota Masih and Shakeel Anjum Saawan.
It was the first Minorities’ Political Convention in the history of AJK. People of AJK were so pleased and honored to have PMA in their territory. Representatives of PMA from all Districts of AJK participated in this convention.
Main speech was delivered by Mr. Tahir Naveed Chaudhary (Advocate) Chairman Pakistan Minorities Alliance - PMA. “My people of AJK, you are blessed because God has chosen you to be a part of this family of PMA. From now you are not alone, PMA will struggle for your rights in AJK.” he said.
He also urged the Govt. of AJK to take all necessary actions on the demands of people of AJK.
C.E.C members of PMA also participated in the convention and addressed to the people.
Mr. Shakeel Anjum Saawan a famous journalist and activist has announced to join PMA and took the responsibilities as President Youth AJK in this convention.
People of AJK expressed gratitude to the PMA’s leadership and whole team for providing them a solid platform. “We were looking for a brave leadership and solid platform to raise our voices. A group of intellectuals of AJK were observing the all political movements of minorities and after the discussion with the people of AJK we have concluded to join PMA. As a matter of fact this is the only movement which is present and working on grounds.” Said Shakeel Anjum Saawan.

Mr. Tahir Naveed Chaudhary (Advocate) Chairman Pakistan Minorities Alliance - PMA has visited the family and R**e Victim Sara Masih. He has condemned this shameful act and demanded the Authorities to deal the culprits with iron fist. He has warned the authorities if any negligence been observed, strikes and protests will be launched nationally and internationally. Case has been taken over by PMA with the assistance of Mr. Pervaiz Shoukat Bhatti Advocate High Court and President C.L.A.P.

Tehmina Tariq Gospel Singer started the Convention with a Holy Song. A young kid Amar Asif S/O Asif Khokher delivered the first speech in English, Mr. Ishaq Chairman C.B.A expressed gratitude to the people of Hafizabad and especially Rev. Father Mushtaq Piayra for providing such a nice place for 1st Worker Convention of PMA. Mr. Asif Khokher District President Hafizabad PMA and Mr. Javed Qamar President Labor Wing Punjab PMA addressed to the people for and declared Hafizabad as a strong hold of PMA. Rev. Father Mushtaq Piayara expressed his feelings regarding the great convention and vowed to continue such efforts in the nation’s larger interest.
Rev. Bishop Andreas Iftkhar Moma addressed to the people and ensure the Leadership of PMA that Church will stand with you with all their assets. “Next Worker Convention will be set on the grounds of Faisalabad at Pento Ground.” he Said.
Mr. Farrukh Tanveer Ch. Central Youth Organizer PMA, Mr. Faraz-ul-Haq Bhatti President Youth Punjab PMA, Mrs. Tahira Anjum President Punjab Women Wing, Mr. Riaz Ghouri Senior Member PMA Sindh, Bishop Nazir Alam, Mr. Khurram Shezad Bhatti V.C PMA, Mrs. Rubina Tasneem Women Organizer Punjab PMA and Ruth Rukhsana Advocate Organizer Youth Women Wing Punjab addressed to the people.
Mr. Tahir Naveed Chaudhary Advocate Chairman Pakistan Minorities Alliance - PMA delivered the main speech. “Hafizabad has proven as a second home of PMA and Hafizabad is a Pride of PMA without any doubt. I’m honored by the love of this city. According to some analysts, Minorities of Pakistan were left in hopeless & helpless condition after the assassination of our Great Leader Shahbaz Bhatti Shaheed, but today, here, in this city, PMA has proved them wrong. And our struggle will be continue until Success or Martyrdom. I, Tahir Naveed Chaudhary announces to protect the rights of my nation and every single step will be taken to improve the all sectors of livings.” he said.
People of Hafizabad were extremely happy to arrange such a successful event.
