Our Client, a Karachi based FMCG/Healthcare Concern needs urgently:
'Head of Distribution'
Required Qualification & Experience:
MBA specialization in Supply Chain
At least 8 - 10 Years (Al least 3 years in a similar position)
Knowledge and understanding of best practices related to warehousing, storage, and handling of goods, primary and secondary distribution of Pharma, FMCG, and contraceptive products
Managerial / Leadership Skills: Demonstration of critical thinking and negotiation skill, Experience using process improvement methodologies to improve team performance
Ability to work cross-functionally
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for overall inventory management, planning, organizing, coordinating, and ex*****on of warehouse activities.
Establish and maintain inventory control systems for all raw and finished materials and ensure that stock inventory has up to date.
Responsible for the collection of all the documents used in the stock counting process, preparing the stock and the count.
Oversee safe receipt, storage, retrieval, and timely dispatch of goods
Ensures all requisitions and sales orders are timely delivered and recorded in the inventory.
Ensures the stock is maintained properly and delivered the stock as (First Expiry First Out) Policy.
Providing necessary material for packing operations.
Coordinating with production people to organize them for filling the market demand without any delay,
Bridging the gap between the warehouse and the procurement for smooth and uninterrupted supplies of raw material and packaging to avoid any stock out condition at the warehouse level.
Coordinating with commercial, sales & marketing teams for getting their realistic targets for upcoming production planning,
Responsible for identifying the obsolete, dead, and slow-moving stock from the system and submitting the quarterly reports to all stakeholders.
Regularly monitor primary and secondary sales to ensure availability of stock as per market demand
Develop strong relationships with distributors
Ensure all warehouse and distribution operations are according to safety protocols and government regulations.
