Swabi: Medical assistance and treatment for flood-affected people in Gadoon, Swabi, are continuing under the supervision of AHD Dr. Gul Parez. The team provided treatment to more than 90 people yesterday, visiting far-flung areas severely hit by the floods.

During the visit, the 𝐖𝐇𝐎 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐋𝐮𝐨 𝐃𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐠, met the medical team and appreciated their dedicated efforts. He was accompanied by DHO Swabi Dr. Abdul Latif and officials from the District Administration.

Following the field visit, the WHO team visited BKMC, where they were briefed on the condition of flood-affected patients and ongoing medical response. The WHO team assured full cooperation in providing continued medical assistance, support, and rehabilitation for the injured and displaced.

تحصیل ہیڈکوارٹر ہسپتال ٹوپی کی میڈیکل ٹیم نے گدون کے سیلاب سے متاثرہ علاقوں میں طبی خدمات فراہم کرنے کی رپورٹ جاری کی ہے۔ ٹیم نے مشکل حالات کے باوجود متاثرہ علاقے دلورئی تک رسائی حاصل کی اور متاثرین کو فوری طبی امداد فراہم کی۔
گاوں دلورئی بالا میں قائم کیے گئے عارضی میڈیکل کیمپ میں 110 زخمیوں کو علاج معالجے کی سہولیات فراہم کی گئیں۔ مقامی آبادی نے بروقت اور مؤثر طبی خدمات فراہم کرنے پر میڈیکل ٹیم کا شکریہ ادا کیا اور ان کی کاوشوں کو سراہا۔

صوابی / کلاوڈ برسٹ اپڈیٹس

صوابی: کلاوڈ برسٹ سے متاثرہ علاقوں کے 9 زخمی ایم ٹی آئی کے دو اسپتالوں میں منتقل کیے گئے۔

صوابی: 6 زخمیوں کو تحصیل اسپتال ٹوپی جبکہ 3 زخمیوں کو باچا خان میڈیکل کمپلیکس میں طبی سہولیات فراہم کی گئیں۔

صوابی: ٹوپی اسپتال سے تین زخمیوں کو ابتدائی طبی امداد کے بعد ڈسچارج کر دیا گیا۔

صوابی: اسپتال ڈائریکٹر ڈاکٹر خالد مسود نے ٹیم کے ہمراہ تحصیل ہیڈکوارٹر اسپتال ٹوپی کا دورہ کیا۔

صوابی: ہسپتال ڈائریکٹر نے زخمیوں کی عیادت کی اور فراہم کی جانے والی طبی سہولیات کا جائزہ لیا۔

صوابی: ہسپتال ڈائریکٹر کی ہدایت پر کل صبح باچا خان میڈیکل کمپلیکس کی میڈیکل ٹیم متاثرہ علاقے کا دورہ کرے گی۔

78th Independence Day Celebration at BKMC-MTI, Topi.

Swabi: The 78th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at MTI-TOPI, Swabi.

The flag hoisting ceremony was held in the Administration block, where the Associate Hospital Director, Doctors, and other supporting staff participated

After the flag hoisting, a cake-cutting ceremony was held in the hospital. Special prayers were offered for the prosperity and a better future for Pakistan.

Swabi: The Tehsil Headquarters Hospital (THQ) Topi-MTI achieved another major milestone as a sacrohysteropexy was successfully performed on 8th July 2025 under the Sehat Card Plus Program.

The surgery was performed by Dr. Aneela Shahzadi, Assistant Professor at THQ Topi, with the support of a dedicated team including Dr. Rehmat (Anaesthetist), anaesthesia technicians Mr. Ismael, Miss Reema, and Mr. Tayeb, OTA Mr. Sabir, and Staff Nurse Alia.

The patient, a young woman from Gandaf, Swabi, was suffering from third-degree uterine prolapse. In order to preserve her uterus, the team decided to perform sacrohysteropexy, the first-ever case at THQ Topi and also the first in District Swabi.

Dr. Aneela Shahzadi has previously performed the hospital’s first hysterectomy, staging laparotomy, and myomectomy, playing a vital role in establishing gynaecological surgical services at THQ Topi.

BKMC-MTI Team Visits THQ Hospital Topi.

Date: 3rd July 2025.

Swabi: On 3rd July, the Hospital Director BKMC-MTI, along with the Nursing Director, Associate Medical Director, Head of the Department of Medicine, Manager M&E, Manager Facilities, Manager MIS, and Manager Pharmacy, visited THQ Hospital Topi.

During the visit, the team inspected the newly established Emergency Room (ER), the old ward designated for the upcoming Gynae Block, and the space allocated for the Dialysis Unit. It was decided that the old ER would be repurposed for the Dialysis Unit.

Later, the Hospital Director chaired a meeting in the office of Additional Hospital Director Dr. Gul Parez, where he issued directives to the concerned managers regarding various ongoing and planned tasks.

He also instructed the Facility Manager to initiate the planning process for the condemnation and auction of obsolete equipment.

Swabi: The Chairman Board of Governors (BOG), Major General (R) Salah-u-Din Qasim, visited THQ Topi MTI to inspect the ongoing construction and development work. During the visit,

Additional Hospital Director (AHD) Dr. Gul Parez, along with the Nursing Director, Associate Medical Director, Principal of Nigar College, and administrative officers from BKMC, briefed the Chairman on various ongoing and upcoming projects at the facility.

The team provided a comprehensive update on the establishment of the new Fair Price Pharmacy. The Chairman issued clear directives to expedite the launch of the pharmacy to ensure the availability of quality medicines at affordable prices for the public.

Discussions were also held regarding the development of the Gynae Complex. The Chairman, along with the Head of the Gynecology Department, reviewed the proposed plans. He instructed the AHD, ND, AMD, and Concerns Managers to complete the necessary documentation for the establishment of the complex.

Furthermore, the Chairman directed Associate Medical Director Dr. Saqib to fast-track the HR recruitment process in the interest of public service.

The Chairman appreciated the efforts and dedication of the AHD, their entire team, and the BKMC Administration for their commitment to improving healthcare facilities.

HD Chairs Meeting on Launch of SCP Services at THQ Topi and THQ Chota Lahor.

Swabi: The Hospital Director, Dr. Khalid Masud, chaired an important meeting to discuss the initiation of Sehat Card Plus (SCP) services at the allied teaching hospitals, THQ Topi and THQ Chota Lahor.

The meeting was attended by the SCP Focal Person, Manager Pharmacy, AHDs of both THQs, AM Quality Assurance, Media Officer, and pharmacists from both facilities.

Dr. Abid Naeem gave a comprehensive presentation outlining the preparations, requirements, fair price pharmacy setup, hiring needs, and other essential steps for launching the SCP services at both locations.

During the meeting, the Hospital Director issued specific directions to the Manager Pharmacy and AHDs of both THQs to immediately begin the necessary groundwork. He emphasized that all preparatory tasks must be completed promptly to ensure a smooth and timely launch of the Sehat Card Plus program.

It is worth mentioning that, following a detailed assessment, the government has officially approved both THQ Topi and THQ Chota Lahor for inclusion in the Sehat Card Plus initiative.

This development will soon enable residents of these areas to access free and quality healthcare under the program.
