A True Blessing…

In advanced liver cirrhosis, it’s rare for a woman to become pregnant.

One of my regular patients, a 39-year-old woman who had advanced liver disease with ascites, had been married for eight years without having a child.

10 months ago, By the grace of God—she became pregnant for the first time. The entire family was overjoyed.

This pregnancy was both very risky and incredibly precious. I carefully explained all the possible dangers to both the mother and baby to the family. After discussing everything, we all agreed to go ahead and continue the pregnancy.

For nine months, I worked closely with a gynecologist to manage her care. There were many joint efforts and discussions to ensure the best outcome.

And Alhamdulillah, one month ago, she gave birth to a beautiful, healthy baby. Words can’t describe the joy of the family—or mine and the whole medical team’s.

ایک اور مریض کی کہانی, جس کے پاخانے کے ساتھ پچھلے ایک سال سے خون بہہ رہا تھا۔، جس کا علاج بواسیر کے طور پر کیا گیا تھا۔یہاں تک کہ چند ماہ پہلے اس کا بواسیر کا آپریشن بھی ہوا ۔ اس کی کولونوسکوپی کرنے پر، ایک بڑا ایڈوانس کینسر تھا۔ جو بڑی آنت کی مکمل رکاوٹ کا باعث بن رہا تھا۔
