Did you know sensory issues can lead to habits like nose picking?
🧠💡 Redirecting behaviour along with Sensory Diet is key! Try using lavender or bergamot essential oil (1ML with 15ML carrier oil) near nostrils for sensory regulation.
👃 For tactile sense, use therabands or theraputti for hand exercises to help kids regulate.
🌿💪 Redirect to another activity when you notice the behaviour.

Blueberries, eggs, salmon, and spinach are powerful superfoods for kids in their early years.
Blueberries are rich in antioxidants that boost immunity and support memory and focus.
Eggs provide high-quality protein and choline, essential for brain development and growth.
Salmon is packed with omega-3 fatty acids (DHA), which help with brain function, learning ability, and eye health.
Spinach is full of iron, calcium, and vitamins that support strong bones, healthy digestion, and overall development. Including these foods early helps build a strong foundation for a child’s physical and mental growth.

This consultation revealed a painful truth: a mother hitting her child out of pure frustration because nothing she did seemed to ‘stick.’
The reality is, disciplinary techniques fail when they are mismatched to a child’s Mental Age, not their chronological age. Asking a 10-year-old with the developmental understanding of a 6-year-old to complete complex tasks or respond maturely to consequences is setting them up for failure—and you up for burnout. Punishment doesn’t increase capability; accurate assessment does.
Our first step is always an IQ/Mental Age test.
This allows us to understand how the child processes the world and create interventions (academic, behavioral, social) that are actually achievable for their current developmental stage. Stop punishing the gap; start bridging it. If this sounds familiar, assessment is your next critical step.
Call to Action: Ready to stop guessing and start understanding? Book a consultation for a full assessment today.

*Today’s session was full of smiles, energy, and pure joy!*
Music + movement became the perfect combo for building focus, *waiting*, *turn-taking*, social interaction, and confidence. 🎶✨
Musical chairs helped everyone practice rule-based learning and simple instruction following while enjoying the excitement of the game.
Loved watching everyone move, pause, wait, and celebrate each little win.

Child harassment is a growing issue that often goes unnoticed, yet its impact on a child’s emotional and mental well-being can last a lifetime.
Whether it appears as body shaming, color shaming, bullying, or hurtful remarks disguised as “jokes,” harassment leaves deep scars that can damage a child’s confidence and self-worth. It’s time for parents, teachers, and communities to take a stand and protect children from the harmful words and behaviors that shape how they see themselves. By teaching kindness, empathy, and respect, we can create safer environments where kids feel valued, supported, and empowered to embrace who they are.
Breaking the cycle of harassment starts with us—our awareness, our actions, and our commitment to raising emotionally healthy, confident children.

Toddlers often throw tantrums, and as parents, it's common to give in to their demands to avoid further meltdowns. However, this can actually reinforce negative behavior and create a pattern of tantrum-throwing.
When we immediately agree to their demands, we're teaching them that tantrums are an effective way to get what they want.
Instead, it's helpful to stay calm and patient, validate their feelings, set clear boundaries, and offer empathy and comfort without giving in.
This approach helps toddlers develop essential skills like self-regulation, problem-solving, and emotional intelligence because their prefrontal cortex is maturing.
