METRUM CRYOFLEX prepares for stock market debut and U.S. expansion! An interview with Piotr Fic, the CEO of METRUM CRYOFLEX

METRUM CRYOFLEX, a Polish medtech company, plans to increase its revenue by 40% by the end of 2027, expecting a major boost after entering the U.S. market. The company is preparing for a stock exchange debut and is currently not considering acquisition by a strategic investor.

– a technology that freezes nerves to relieve pain – has seen a 300% growth, contributing significantly to the company’s dynamic development. Despite this impressive progress, METRUM CRYOFLEX aims even higher and wants to operate on an entirely different revenue scale in the coming years.

2024 results: PLN 43 million in revenue and nearly PLN 3 million in net profit.
To fuel further development, the company needs capital to expand infrastructure, increase production, and grow its international presence.

The transformation into a joint-stock company is already in motion, with hopes to finalize it by the end of this year. This step would bring Metrum Cryoflex closer to the market and prepare for a potential IPO that would benefit future shareholders and the company itself.

It’s too early to say whether the will be on or the main stock exchange, but the company favors the latter while keeping both options open.

Why the optimism?
Because the field of medtech, particularly , is highly promising – with innovative solutions, large target groups, and growing demand driven by issues like opioid overuse and aging populations.

METRUM CRYOFLEX divides its product portfolio into three main categories: devices, medical , and physiotherapy equipment. However, the biggest growth potential lies in , and that’s where the company is focusing its efforts.

Since launching the -S Painless device in 2015, Metrum has been working on an improved and next-generation version, as well as developing new types of probes to expand the applications of its nerve-freezing technology.

🔬 Innovative Approach to Pain Management in Children at Quirónsalud Málaga.

Quirónsalud Hospital in Málaga has become the first private medical center in Andalusia to implement intercostal as part of surgical treatment for excavatum in pediatric patients.
Under the leadership of Dr. Rodrigo de la Oliva, and through close collaboration between the , , and departments, this minimally invasive technique effectively blocks intercostal nerve function, resulting in:
✅ reduced need for opioids,
✅ shorter hospital stays,
✅ faster recovery,
✅ greater comfort for patients and their families.

This initiative marks a significant step forward in building more humane, effective, and patient-centered medical care. Special thanks go to Dr. Carlos Ávila Zurita for his critical role in the procedure, and to Dr. Alexander Siles Hinojosa for championing this patient-focused surgical approach.
