Travelling abroad is not always easy, especially when the environment is not ready to support all passengers.
The European Disability Forum launches another Human Rights Report, this time about the air travel for passengers with disabilities.

Erasmus+ and ESC programmes have templates for Learning Agreement and Volunteering Agreement, that may be complex and not so easy to understand.
But participants have the right to understand what they are signing! 📝

Not all disabilities are visible.

Globally, 1 in 6 people (that’s over 1.3 billion) live with a disability, and up to 80% of those have a non-visible disability, meaning it's not immediately apparent to you. This includes conditions like chronic pain, autism, anxiety, ADHD, diabetes, Crohn’s, and more.

It’s Invisible Disabilities Week (19–25 October)! 🌻

Around 80–85% of people with a disability have one that isn’t visible. These include neurological, cognitive, sensory, mental health, and chronic conditions that aren’t always immediately apparent.

Not all disabilities are visible — but a little understanding and kindness can go a long way in making everyone feel seen and supported.

If you are in one of this Countries, don't forget to come and visit, so we can celebrate together!!🥳

📌Monday 13th October, from 14.00 to 18.00 in Malta🇲🇹, you can hear some testimonials 🗣and make aperitivo 🍹with Vision for the Med Association

📌Tuesday 14th October, from 11.00 to 13.30, you can take a leap to Gdansk, in Poland🇵🇱, see some PR.I.M.E. outputs📝, do some ecological workshops🍃 and see a concert🎷 with PSONI Gdańsk

📌Wednesday 15th October, from 10.00 to 15.00 you are welcome to hear the testimonials 🗣of former participants of Panevėžio socialinių pokyčių centras in the Library of Panevezys, in Lithuania🇱🇹

You rest on Thursday, because on Friday 17th we have a double date:
📌In the morning, the doors of ΕΣΤΙΑ / ESTIA are open 🚪🏠to host you in their centre in Greece🇬🇷,
📌while in 🇫🇷France Cap Ulysse will do a private event to share experiences between participants.👥

Finally, we end up the week with another double event:
📌start the day in Italy🇮🇹, from 10.30 to 12.30 in the 'Vitamin D' Fair where several organisations dedicated to inclusion get together🎪, and you will be able to hear some testimonials of former participants🗣 from Kara Bobowski , other than check all the products and activities offered.🤹‍♀️
📌End this week in Cyprus🇨🇾, with CARDET showing the result of one PR.I.M.E. digital output🕹, between 16.00 and 21.00.

One of the challenges faced by Organisations when implementing mobility projects for people with intellectual disabilities is the crisis management.😱🫨😵‍💫

The greek partner🇬🇷 ΕΣΤΙΑ / ESTIA lead this Online Training on how to prevent and what to do in different types of crisis.
A special guest was Panevėžio socialinių pokyčių centras , the partner from Lithuania🇱🇹, that presented another project called eVeR safe that help preparing people with disabilities for different types of crisis situations.
