🖇️ The clavicle serves as a connection between the axial skeleton and the shoulder girdle.
The articulation between the clavicle and the scapula is called the acromioclavicular joint, and the articulation between the clavicle and the manubrium is called the sternoclavicular joint.
🙋 During shoulder elevation, the clavicle rotates posteriorly along with elevation of the lateral end of the clavicle.
