The Chopin Competition may be over, but the music lives on! 🎼

🔗 Secret project reveal: Eucerin x Pagode Studio! Our team created an animation for the brand event. Here are a few stages of the process: capturing the dancer, the final render and the animation at the event in Amsterdam.

Curious about the process? Be our guest! Here are few words from our 3D technical director, Gregor: "We created the mockup using 4 GoPro cameras placed on tripods.

We processed the video using the Move.ai tool in multi-cam mode and exported the bone animation sequence. Then, we used Cinema 4D to adjust the proportions of the resulting skeleton to match the skeleton of our 3D character.

The 3D artists cleaned up the animation from imperfections that arose during the video processing (the dancer's costume had problematic elements, which led to some parts being manually reconstructed by animating the character in Blender). Despite this, the process was much easier than 100% manual animation - the animators had a solid reference point in the form of video from four different perspectives and large portions of the mocap (motion capture) animation."

🔗 That's only one part of the process. Rendering and post-production are still to come.

With this year's Męskie Granie Orkiestra festival in full swing, now is the perfect time to look back at last year's event 💥

In 2024, we created visuals for 14 songs, which was a wonderful creative experience! Our team used a variety of techniques, combining collages and chaotic drawings with dynamic glitches and geometric shapes.
