Effects of Vitamin D Supplementation on Muscle Strength in Athletes 💊

• In the study from 2017 by Chien-Ming Chiang, Ahmed Ismaeel, Rachel B Griffis, Suzy Weemsm we can conclude that D3 improved positively on strength can range from 1.37 to 18.75% (additional studies are needed to confirm these associations)

• They also found that supplementing with D2 was ineffective at impacting muscle strength.

• So how much of D3 should I be taking?
- In studies participants were taking from 600 to 5000mg IU to see any improvements.

✅ Conclusion- vitamin D3 does show to have positive impact on increase muscle strength in athletes.
