Even though it’s the season of sunshine and holidays, life doesn’t pause. Work, responsibilities, and stress often follow us right into June, July, and August.

So here’s your gentle reminder: you still deserve rest 💛

This simple summer self-care list is here to support your mind and body, no matter what your days look like:

🧠 mind – read something calming or inspiring
💧 body – stay on top of hydration
📓 mind – reflect with a gratitude journal
🌄 body – stretch your body in the morning light
🎨 mind – try a new hobby, just for joy
🚶‍♀️ body – take slow evening walks
🗺️ mind – create little adventures (even a solo coffee counts)

May we all continue to nurture our inner child. Never forget how fierce, curious, and creative we once were. Let it be our inspiration and give us courage today. 💛

As Britney once said “you gotta work b*” and as much as I agree with the queen of pop herself, studies (and common sense) prove that you HAVE to keep the balance, not overdo it & watch out for burnout…

“The Burnout Assessment Tool (BAT): Validation in the Spanish population” is now out in WORK: A Journal of Prevention, Assessment & Rehabilitation. In this study, we managed to validate the BAT for Spanish employees & employers, showing strong reliability, a solid internal structure, and significant correlations with general health, anxiety, work ability, and turnover intention. These findings confirm that the BAT is a valuable tool for assessing burnout in today’s work environment-addressing limitations of older measures like the MBI.

Friday reminder: Rest is not a reward; it’s a necessity. 🌼

Spring is a season of renewal, but that doesn’t mean you have to be in constant motion. Nature blooms in its own time, and so do you.

Give yourself permission this weekend to:
🌷 Take an afternoon nap
🌞 Sit in the sun with no agenda
☕ Take a longer break for a cup of coffee or tea
📖 Read a book for pleasure, not productivity

I wanted to share my recent observation with you. Did you also notice that in society we often celebrate couples for how long they’ve been together - 10, 20, or even 50 years. But the real success of a relationship isn’t in the number of anniversaries right? It’s in how often we show up for each other when things get difficult, the amount of times we celebrate small victories together. It's more about the way you function together in a relationship not how long you co-function… 💭🤔

A healthy relationship is more about:
• Supporting your partner’s dreams, not holding them back
• Facing crises together instead of drifting apart
• Choosing each other, even when life changes you both
• Growing as individuals and as a couple

The question is then: are you and your partner still choosing each other every day? If so, celebrate that - not just the number of years you’ve been together, but the way you continue to build something meaningful 🤍

In my previous posts, I discussed how self-love means not sabotaging yourself. Today, I would like to show you what self-love can look like in practice.

Self-love is an active choice we make daily. It might look like:

- Allowing yourself to rest when when your body needs it, without feeling guilty
- Setting healthy boundaries with people who drain you
- Speaking to yourself with the same kindness you offer others
- Taking small, consistent steps towards your dreams, even when it feels challenging

💭 This week, try to ask yourself:
'What’s one thing I can do this week to actively show love to myself?' It doesn't have to be grand, even small acts can make a difference.
