Although our in-house monitoring resources are pan-European our Project Management

capabilities are truly global. Our PMs are some of the most experienced and highly qualified in the industry and are frequently called upon to manage global trials in conjunction with partners and carefully chosen vendors.

Our Story

The original company was founded in Prague in 2004, and in 2009 we had just one office, and 10 staff members. It was then that the original founder got together with Malgorzata Szerszeniewska and Alan Wood and remodeled the local Czech business into the international success it is today.

Originally focused in the Central European region, EastHORN has expanded significantly in the last 10 years, both westwards and eastwards, now covering all of continental Europe. With an experience of over 180 clinical trials, we have ten offices, operations in 15 countries and we are recognized as a leading European CRO. Our strengths are recognized and praised by our clients and reflected in repeat business: quality and commitment of our people, medical know-how, and geographic coverage.

While the origins of the company go back to 2004, it was in 2009 that Malgorzata Szerszeniewska and I acquired the original Czech company with the vision to build a CRO with operations all over Europe. In these ten years EastHORN has grown to become a truly pan-European CRO serving clients from Europe, North America and Asia.
