On Friday, March 20th, an online skill seminar took place, led by Prof. Jacek Miroński, offering students 0.5 ECTS credits for their participation. The session focused on the concept of psychological flexibility, which is a core skill for dealing with difficult emotions, thoughts, and stress within the ACT framework 💭
During the workshop, participants thoroughly explored and practiced the "ACT hexagon," including cognitive defusion, acceptance, contact with the present moment, self as context, values, and committed action. Each concept was fully explained and supported by engaging discussions and practical exercises in breakout rooms. This approach provided students with reliable knowledge and equipped them with practical methods to enhance their self-awareness and use these tools on their own 🧠
Thank you very much, Professor Miroński, for this highly valuable skill seminar! 🤝📚
