- I read the letter you've left on the grave - said a middle aged woman voice when I picked up the phone.
- Which grave, I leave such messages constantly - I said with a bit of nonchalance of an experienced genealogist who answered such calls before.
- You left it on your grandfather's grave. He raised me - said the woman. - I think we should meet.
I froze, was left speechless for a good moment and dozens of emotions flooded my heart. After 12 years of research I was to discover what kind of a man my biological grandfather was... And besides the fact that my wavy hair found its source, it turned out not to be a nice discovery.
We sometimes think that if things were different our lives would be better. And we only discover that it was quite the opposite. Genealogy is not only about recreating our family tree, it is also about solving family secrets and releasing the transgenerational trauma. Also a journey of understanding ourselves better through the experiences of our ancestors. For me, the biggest lesson is that in the end our life is in our hands. We can stay in the what if or start working on ourselves while still digging for the truth. I am happy to have chosen this path. And the answer came when I was ready to receive it.

While I truly hate camping, my children love it. For years going on camping was a sacrifice. Sacrifice of comfort and peace. This year I decided not to give up on any of these and I found a perfect solution. Located in a deep forest but still close by the lake, Kaluna Glamp offers 6 luxurious tents with big comfortable bed, additional sofa, kitchenette, fridge, camp fire spot and the most delightful outside shower with hot water. I couldn't ask for more. And for those who prefer less comfort there was room enough by the terrace to put their real-man tent. So highly recommend!

Being the official guide for their Excellencies Ministers of Tourism of EU countries gave me a unique opportunity to visit the new, 🔥 and still to be opened attraction on the touristic map of Warsaw. The new viewing terrace Highline Warsaw located at the 53rd floor of the Varso Tower at the high of 230 meters above the ground offers a magnificent panorama of Warsaw and a great spot for events and meetings. The official opening is due for August this year. I can't wait to bring you there!

Warsaw and Bari look so distinctive, yet they have a lot in common. Bona Sforza, the owner of Bari was married to Polish king Sigismund I the Old. Mother of the last dynastic king on the Polish throne, she was also accused of the poisoning of the last Mazovian Ducs after which the Mazovia region, until then independent, was incorporated into the crown of Poland. Later, it opened the way for Warsaw, the capital of Mazovia, to become the political center of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. It is said that Bona, after returning to Bari, was poisoned on her turn by the Habsburgs who owned her money. She is buried in the St. Nicolas (aka Santa Claus) cathedral in Bari.
Bari is also the capital of the beautiful Apulia region known for the splendid cost of Polignano a Mare, the Smurf-like houses of Alberobello, and the tiny streets of Locorotondo.

Located in a luxury resort Konstancin-Jeziorna by Warsaw, Villa la Fleur is a private art museum gathering, among other things, collections related to the École de Paris. The museum houses mainly collections of painting, sculpture and graphics by Polish and Jewish artists active in France in the first half of the 20th century.

The most exquisite training we've ever had! The Wedel chocolate factory will open its museum to the visitors in the beginning of September and I had a great pleasure to get a pre-taste of it already. The omnipresent smell of chocolate was bringing you to another level of visiting... You could sense the exhibition with all your senses. And to those of you who have children, it's super kids friendly. Delicious 😋

Today, on the 80th anniversary of the Warsaw 1944 Rising, I took an unusual role of a translator of my collegue Hubert Smoczyk who is an expert on the Warsaw Rising. Together with Damien from and his guests we've learned many stories and had a great honour to participate in the commemorations at the Zośka batallion quater at the Military Cemetery. Glory to the Heroes!

Szlama Waksman was a tailor, he lived in Radomsko, and Pławno where his son Zendel was born. Szlama died in 1935 as the gangrene set into his leg. Almost 90 years later his grandson Sol and great-granddaughter Alana took a trip to Poland to look for traces of the family history in the ancestral towns and villages. This was a meaningful time for all of us. Thank you
for making me part of your project!
I also highy recommend the .rsko restaurant for the taste and presentation of their meals.

The match was lost by the Polish team but the boulvards of the Vistula river are still one of the best places to enjoy the atmosphere of the championships. The National Stadium on the other side of the river was built for the 2012 Euro Championships in soccer that Poland organized together with Ukraine.

Speedway is one of the most popular sports in Poland. No wonder we could enjoy a great spectacle yesterday at the National Stadium in Warsaw. Many thanks to team for the fantastic time spent together touring Warsaw and for the fun and exciting time with my boys during the evening!

The open-air ethnographic museum is a must see for those of my guests whose ancestors left Poland before WW1. It gives a valuable insight on the hardships and joys of the lives of the past generations living in the rural areas of the Mazovia region.

On today cloudy but warm Friday morning I had a great privilege of guiding the Ambassador of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, His Excellency Paul Schmit and the delegation of the Prime Minister of Luxembourg. My honorable guests discovered the most beautiful part of the Royal Route, narrow streets of the Old Town of Warsaw and the history of the distruction and reconstruction of the Old Town and the Royal Castle
