We had an incredible time in our Mindfulness & Chair Yoga class yesterday! Here’s a snapshot of our day:

🌀 Breath Focus: We made breathing exercises fun using Blowing Pipe Toys to help visualize our breath!

📖 Story Time: We read "Meesha Makes Friends" by Tom Percival, a delightful book that helps children navigate social situations and build connections. This heartwarming story explores the joys and challenges of making and maintaining friendships.

🎨 Seeds of Kindness: The kids planted seeds and learned the importance of nurturing their minds with daily mindfulness practices. Their plant serves as a reminder to care for their mental well-being, just like they care for their physical health.

🧘‍♂️ Yoga Twist: We had lots of fun with playful Yoga and Chair Yoga poses to keep the energy high and spirits bright!

😊 Feelings Exploration: We explored different feelings, helping kids understand and express their emotions, especially when facing social challenges or anxiety.

🧘 Mindfulness Meditation: We practiced the "Seed of Kindness" child-friendly meditation, guiding kids to find calmness, focus on the present, and appreciate the magic of kindness.

🎲 Memory Game: The kids enjoyed our "Monsters Go Away!" memory game – it was a huge hit!

Hey Parents! Yesterday, we had an absolute blast in our Mindfulness/Chair Yoga session! Here’s a peek into our fun-filled day:

🌀 Breath Focus: We made focusing on our breath a fun visual experience using Hoberman Spheres!

📖 Story Time: We read "My Magic Breath," a beautiful book that helps kids find calm through mindful breathing.

🎨 Creative Pinwheels: The kids crafted colorful pinwheels to notice their breath. They loved the "Whimsical Pinwheel" meditation, which helps children aged 6-10 visualize their worries fading away with each breath.

🧘‍♂️ Chair Yoga Fun: We introduced playful Chair Yoga poses to add movement and focus, keeping the energy high and spirits lifted!
