which will be held on 3 - 5 April 2014

Theme of the Conference:

"A coin with many sides - different perspectives on mental illness"



The conference is organized by the International Organization for Young Psychiatrists (http://ypsnet.org/) in collaboration with the Department of Psychiatry. The conference will take place in Wroclaw and will be attempt to take the discourse on contemporary psychopathology, modern methods of treatment, the opportunity to interact with experts in many fields for the treatment of mental disorders - psychiatrists, neurologists, psychologists, psychotherapists and sexologists. Among the professionals who have confirmed their participation are Professors: Norman Sartorius (many years' director of World Psychiatric Association, European Psychiatric Association and WHO's Division of Mental Health), Graham Thornicroft (King's College London), Marco Pagani (Institute of Cognitive Sciences and Technologies, Rome), Sir David Goldberg (King's College London), Cyril Höschl (Charles University, Prague) oraz prof. The conference will be preceded by a seven-day workshop led by Professor Sartorius.

Dear colleagues,

I've received some mails with questions about Barcam. I'd like to send for everyone answer on these question, because I guess not a lot of people are familiar with this new format of conferences.

Barcamp is a variants of free onference. Therefore you can do any kind of presentation. You will have 15 minutes and you may spend all this time on discussion or on your slides or poster presentation. It's up to you. It's your time and you arrange everything as you wish.

Every participant of the Meeting can do a presentation on interesting for him/her topic!

Barcamp will take place on the second day of the Meeting 4th of April in the end of the day. We will have rooms for presentations with equipment for slide presentation. There will be 4 presentations in one room consistently. You will take turns presenting your topics. And you will be able to participate in any presentation which will be before or after you presentation. You may go to other rooms also.

You need to put name of your presentation in the free slot. Papers for scheduling your presentations you will find on the registration desk at the first day of the Meeting.
