It is with great enthusiasm that we announce our first conference for the Neurology Pathway Program. The session will be conducted by Dr. Osvaldo Laurido, a specialist in Neurocritical Care from Washington University. He will be discussing the topic of Ischemic vs Hemorrhagic Stroke Management. Additionally, Dr. Laurido will talk about The Groff Diversity Scholars Program and the benefits of obtaining this scholarship when participating in an Away Rotation at Washington University in St.Louis.

We will also be allocating a brief moment to answer a survey before the conference and another survey after the conference. These surveys will help us measure the impact of the Neurology Pathway Program on the students attending the conferences. The surveys will consist of 10-15 multiple-choice questions. We appreciate your participation as it will help us continue to improve the program for future years.

Les queremos invitar a participar en nuestro Neurology Pathway Program Es un curso que hemos diseñado para los estudiantes de SIGN UPR, UCC, SJB, y Ponce Health Sciences junto con la mentoría del Dr. Camilo Gutierrez de la Universidad de Maryland. El mismo es gratuito y nos ayudará a recibir información de departamentos de Neurología en USA. Estaremos discutiendo información sobre diferentes temas relacionados a Neurología, consejos para solicitud de residencia, oportunidades de crear conexiones, entre otros temas.
