Meet Wilfred Ferrer Fonseca, one of our 2025 CAPAC peer to peer mentors! 💜

Wilfred is a PharmD student at the University of Puerto Rico, Medical Sciences Campus. He worked under the mentorship of Dr. Carlos Díaz Osterman, on the project “Targeting Rho GTPases RAC1 and Cdc42 in advanced prostate cancer cell lines”.

Meet Selimar Álvarez Vázquez, one of our 2025 CAPAC peer to peer mentors! 💜

Selimar completed an MS in Environmental Sciences at the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico. She worked under the mentorship of Dr. Harold Saavedra, on the project “Co-targeting of AURKA and AURKB as an innovative therapeutic approach to decrease the expression of EMT biomarkers in TNBC”.

Meet Clara S. Santiago Rosado, one of our 2025 CAPAC trainees! 💜

Clara completed an ND at the University of Ana G. Méndez. She worked under the mentorship of Dr. Yamixa Delgado, on the project “Antitumor Activity of Diosgenin Combined with Chemotherapy in KRAS-mutant and EGFR-mutant Non-Small Cell Lung Carcinoma”.
