Division of Community Services-CIES The Division of Community Services is one of the most successful independent evaluation, research, and grant writing organization in Puerto Rico.

Founded in 2007, the Division of Community Services (DSC, by its initials in Spanish) of the Center for Evaluation and Sociomedical Research (CIES) of the Graduate School of Public Health, University of Puerto Rico - Medical Sciences Campus specializes in the evaluation of social programs, applied research on human service organizations, basic research on public health issues, evidence base practice, and the development of methods to measure program success. The DSC has provided evaluation, research, grant writing, and consultation services to numerous public and private organizations. DSC has current evaluation and research projects in the fields of education, mental health, substance abuse and prevention, violence prevention, teen pregnancy, K-12, and biomedical research. Clients include public, private and non-profit organizations
