When I feel low on energy or am dealing with illness (as for the past week) my go to healer is nature. Just sitting in my yard surrounded by trees, cool breeze and silence restores my soul and body. It is ok to stop, recharge and listen to your body. Take time for you even if it is just five minutes, honor your feelings, your body, your emotions. It’s ok! Namaste

My morning walk gifted me with the beautiful moon in this blue sky. Being in nature early in the gives me the opportunity to connect with the Divinexand myself . Morning walks are part of my morning routine along with prayer and meditation and my yoga practice.
Some days I can spare 45 minutes , some days I can’t, so I do a short walk and a 10 minute yoga practice and my prayers and meditation.
My morning routine sets the tone for the day and puts me on the right path.
Try to set up a morning routine that works for you. That gives you peace,calm and moves your body.
It is about what works for you not anybody else. Gift yourself with love and compassion.

My oasis , my backyard. Haven’t posted in a while , it’s been a whirlwind for the past few weeks but today.. stopped to just breathe and be. Many times we set out to “do” and forget to be. Yesterday I was reminded of the importance of being more than doing or “planning”. I had the privilege of listening. Today my intention is to be present, really present, aware. Being present opens up my eyes to all the blessings in my life. Thank you for following me , from my heart to yours, Namaste🙏🏻

Breathe in,breathe out,release, Repeat.. taking time out to breathe ,be stills de enjoy the silence is important for overall well-being. It doesn’t need to be hours, 10 minutes will do. When we breathe consciously we are aware of the release we feel when we exhale, releasing, letting go,making space for new.. try it just 10 minutes, see how you feel. You will get a burst of energy’s, you will feel lighter.

This is one of my favorite poses..tree pose..why? It is everything I believe yoga is for me. For the past few weeks, I have had the word Satya coming up a lot. Truthfulness, to be true..to who or whom? After lots of thought , it is to be true to me ,to my beliefs,values,to where I am on this journey ,to my process of transformation.
Tree pose is about balance,letting go,finding ease in trying to stay balanced,to Just Be.. that is what yoga is to me, a way to live in balance, to let go or learn to let go, to trust the process,to live with ease and peace. It is about connecting with oneself ,being true to you, so you can be true to others.
I am on this journey,I am vulnerable,I am transforming,I am growing..join me!

Full Moon today is a Supermoon and its called Flower Moon,because May is when flowers blossom across North America.
Remember to light a candle under the moon's glow, write down that which no longer serves you and burn it,if possible or tear it up in pieces.
After you can repeat this affirmation,placing your hands on your heart,breathe and repeat "Today I release the past, that which no longer serves and move forward with joy and ease"

Mental health awareness ..in these times we all may be struggling with anxiety,depression,inability to deal with everyday situations,panic attacks, lack of sleep, the list goes on. If you or anyone you know is struggling,lend a helping hand, be there for them,help them get the professional help they need.
In the meantime our breath is a wonderful healer..as a yoga teacher , I share with you the power of breath. If you feel anxious, if you feel you can't breathe, take a few minutes, sit down,take a few deep,slow breaths, and just wait, your nervous system will go from flight or fight into rest and restore, your heart beat will start to slow down and you will feel calm.

Mother Nature,the Universe,God, signs,all around us. I was cleaning the yard ,raking leaves and I find this,a perfect heart!!! Conscious Awareness of all that is around us, living, in the Now.
