Medicine making tips

Some things that may save you time:
300 g of fresh plant material fits into a quart jar with 600 ml of
menstrum.
- you can multiply that or divide it as necessary: 600g and 1200 ml in a half gallon jar, 150 g and 300 ml in a pint jar etc. it always works, one of the best magic tricks.
I find it useful to chop all the plant material, weigh it and subtract the weight from the bowl depending on the size jar I'm using. I always put the marc into the menstruum, as this minimizes air bubbles. You won't have to wait for gravity to do it's thing. When I'm doing this, I put the jar in a bowl so if I miss , it's collected and clean.
