Prevention=Risk reduction

The fundamental principle of Alzheimer's prevention is based on two main concepts: reducing brain damage and improving cognitive reserve. Often, people tend to hyperfocus on one aspect of prevention and overlook others. For example, eat a super healthy diet but ignore major sleep disorders, or exercise regularly but rarely commit to challenging cognitive activities, or do everything right but ignore untreated sleep apnea. The key to effective Alzheimer's prevention is addressing all factors comprehensively, mainly focusing on specific personal risk factors.

Remember, a measured and balanced approach tailored to your personal health profile is the most effective strategy. It’s never too late to start making healthier choices.
