تأسس مستشفى كاريتاس للأطفال في بيت لحم عام 1953 وهو يتبع إداريا ومالياً لجمعية إغاثة أطفال بيت لحم والتي تعتبر جمعية دولية إنسانية غير ربحية ومقرها الرئيس سويسرا. يقدم المستشفى مجموعة واسعة من الخدمات الطبية التي تشمل الخدمات الطبية السريرية، وخدمة العناية المكثفة والعناية بالخداج بالإضافة إلى العيادات الخارجية العامة والاختصاصية المدعومة بخدمات العلاج الطبيعي، والصيدلة، والتغذية. ولضمان شمولية المعالجة، يوفر المستشفى مجموعة واسعة من الفحوصات التشخيصية العامة والمميزة بالإضافة إلى الاستشارات الاجتماعية والنفسية للأطفال والأهالي.
ويعتبر المستشفى من أهم المؤسسات التشغيلية في منطقة بيت لحم حيث يوفر لما يقارب 250 موظف وموظفة بيئية مهنية وتعليمية منافسة.
The Caritas Baby Hospital- CBH was founded in Bethlehem in 1953. CBH is affiliated with Children's Relief Bethlehem; an international and non-profit humanitarian organization based in Switzerland.
Caritas Baby Hospital offers a wide range of medical services including regular inpatient services, intensive care and neonate care as well as general and specialized outpatient clinics. All supported by physiotherapy, pharmaceutical and nutrition services. To ensure comprehensive treatment, a wide range of regular and special diagnostic services is provided in addition to the social and psychological counselling for children and parents.
