We had two very special guests at practice today—Sky and Charlie! 🐾 Whether they’re cheering us on from the sidelines or greeting the team with happy tails, they’re as much a part of the Red Dragons family as any of us.
Great energy on the water today. We practice together to race together. Let’s go! 🐲💪

Vogalonga training! 🚣 Getting ready for Venice, Italy 🇮🇹. In May of 2026 the Red Dragons Miami 🐉 team will have the pleasure to participate in this year’s event. “Venice’s Vogalonga began in 1974, for the feast of Saint Martin. At the time it was just a race between friends, but by 1975 the Vogalonga as it exists today, with its 30 to 32 kilometers”. See you in May Venice, Italy!

Red Dragons Miami: Christmas Edition Sunday
Funday! 🐉🎄
What a spectacular morning on the water! We paddled out through Sunset Harbour and the Collins Canal before making our traditional stop at Flagler Monument Island to cool off.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us to paddle and celebrate the season. There’s no better way to spend the holidays than on the water!

Celebrating the Strength of Family! 🐉

What a year it has been! Through every race, national competition, win, and loss, our team only grew stronger 💪Building a team is hard work, and we treat this crew like family-that’s why we keep showing up, training together, and giving it our all.
A huge thank you to Dennis and Di for your incredible leadership!
And a massive congratulations to our award winners: Michelle (Captains Award) and Alex (Member of the Year)!
Cheers to an even better year ahead! We can’t wait to continue to train together and race together ♥️

What a way to close out the year at Synergy! proud of our Red Dragons Miami 🐉
The Senior Women absolutely crushed it, earning a well-deserved SILVER 🥈medal. And our Premier Mixed team 💪You showed up and represented with so much heart!
Great year of racing, paddling, and making memories on the water. We can’t wait to get back out there, race harder, and make even more unforgettable moments! See you on the water!

It’s a very sad day in Red Dragons history. We are suffering the loss of a former team mate Richard Yudin. Richard and Charisse Yudin came to Red Dragons around 2015 as a gift from Will Murphy and Blazing Paddles. Richard and Charisse were two of Red Dragons premier teammates. Richard steered and paddled for many RD practices and venues. He participated in several local and out of town races where in typical RD fashion we medaled. For the more senior Red Dragons I’m sure they all will remember Richard in our hearts and minds. He is the third senior male paddler we’ve lost in the most recent years. Tom Torres and Gordon Wright were also amazing teammates who we lost too soon. Not to forget as well Catherine Duma one if our biggest supporters. From all of the red dragons members past and present know that once you’re in the RD family you’re a member forever. May GOD bless Charisse and may she find closure in this loss to all of us. Rest in peace Richard. You will be sorely missed.
