Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle hands-on healing practice that supports your body’s innate ability to balance and heal itself through light non-invasive touch. The therapists listening presence creates a relational field that allows a sense of safety, a key aspect to calming an agitated nervous system. From a state of deep relaxation comes a feeling of being truly heard and seen and healing can start happening. It is an effective way of healing many conditions like chronic and acute illnesses, aches, pains, stress related issues, trauma, birth trauma, emotional and psychological disturbances. BCST can also be a great resource to maintain balance and wellbeing in daily life. In Ashtanga Yoga we learn a flowing sequence of postures that is practised in synch with the breath. In a Mysore Style class this sequence is learned and practised in silence, respecting each and every practitioners breath and rhythm. The teacher moves around and guides each practitioner individually. The silence of a breathing room and the fact that the sequence is fixed can encourage a very internal perception and awareness. The sequence can be adjusted to each practitioners physical abilities, respecting possible injuries or conditions.
