Yogic breathwork is about consciously controlling and regulating the breath, clearing the energy channels and expanding the flow of energy. Activating breathing techniques, triggering natural DMT releases and higher states of awareness, are combined with calming breathing techniques, leading to nervous system regulation and deep meditation. The practice improves lung capacity, heart rate variability and blood pressure. It enhances focus, memory, sleep quality and stress resilience.
Through somatic breathwork we allow ourselves to experience and process the deeper parts of ourselves that potentially have been stored in the body as trauma for a very long time. With the help of conscious connected breathing, as well as traditional ancient Pranayama techniques, we reaffirm our nervous system that it is safe to feel and to be in our bodies. In a safe trauma-informed environment we can allow emotions to come up, to be with them, and let them go again. This kind of breathwork helps us to open up our energetical system and experience a state of clarity and presence.
