Beyond Wellness Aljezur was created by Eileen Lafer PhD, C-IAYT, E-RYT500. Eileen is a Professional Yoga Therapist certified by the International Association of Yoga Therapists (C-IAYT). She also holds credentials as a teacher of iREST Meditation, therapeutic yoga (E-RYT500), trauma sensitive yoga, and pre-natal and postpartum yoga (RPYT). She is a continuing education provider for Yoga Alliance (YACEP) as well as the International Association of Yoga Therapists (ADP provider).

Welcome to Beyond Wellness Aljezur, the culmination of a dream to create a place, intimately connected to nature, in which I can live and share the knowledge I have accumulated over a lifetime. My name is Eileen Lafer. I am a yoga and meditation teacher, medical educator and scientist. I am currently studying yoga therapy at the Kripalu School of Integrative Yoga Therapy.
