Beyond Wellness Aljezur was created by Eileen Lafer PhD, C-IAYT, E-RYT500. Eileen is a Professional Yoga Therapist certified by the International Association of Yoga Therapists (C-IAYT). She also holds credentials as a teacher of iREST Meditation, therapeutic yoga (E-RYT500), trauma sensitive yoga, and pre-natal and postpartum yoga (RPYT). She is a continuing education provider for Yoga Alliance (YACEP) as well as the International Association of Yoga Therapists (ADP provider).

Welcome to Beyond Wellness Aljezur, the culmination of a dream to create a place, intimately connected to nature, in which I can live and share the knowledge I have accumulated over a lifetime. My name is Eileen Lafer. I am a yoga and meditation teacher, medical educator and scientist. I am currently studying yoga therapy at the Kripalu School of Integrative Yoga Therapy. Please contact me if you are interested in private or group instruction in therapeutic yoga, therapeutic nutrition, or guided meditation.
