EN: From the union of two projects: “A Ciranda”, led by teacher Paula Colen, and “Espaço Luz”, led by teacher Lior Harat — “Ciranda de Luz” was born.

With more physical space and more teachers, the project will welcome children from 3 to 13 years old.

It is essential to respect children's desire, on some days, not to go out and play in the park, to play indoors, to stay warm and protected, and to allow them to experience other qualities in their play. The balance between indoors and outdoors, expansion and contraction, are principles of Waldorf education. If a methodology does not listen to children and their needs, then it is useless.

Dear friends,
Welcome. My name is Paula Colen, I’m a teacher.
I have over 20 years of experience in the classroom and in managing a school inspired by Waldorf pedagogy. I’m also a specialist in Therapeutic Education, Social Pedagogy and Biographical Counselling.
I teach Portuguese and other subjects from the Portuguese curriculum at Ciranda Atelier Waldorf in Vila de Avô and in one-to-one lessons at my home in Côja.
