Last week, 2CA-Braga was in Arcos de Valdevez to participate in 𝗔𝗟𝗧𝗢𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗛𝗢 𝗦𝗖𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗙𝗘𝗦𝗧, promoted by Oficinas de Criatividade Himalaya - Centro Ciência Viva dos Arcos and Município de Arcos de Valdevez.

The team had the opportunity to interact with and present its services and projects to the community and take part in a roundtable discussion on "How to Sleep Well" aimed at young students and teenagers 😴😊

Throwback to the official launch session of the 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦 (𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐈) of Life and Health Sciences - #𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐬4𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡

The 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐬4𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 project aims to link academic, research and health institutions, industry, and other relevant players in the 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 from the 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐠𝐚𝐥, promoting collaborative innovative solutions in 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐞, 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡, 𝐁𝐢𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐞𝐬, and 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡.

The kick-off event for the 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 (𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗜) 𝗶𝗻 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 took place on the 3rd of March, marking the official launch of the 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘀𝟰𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 project.

The strong turnout reflected the 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻 ecosystem's interest and commitment to a collaborative agenda for health innovation. As a regional platform, 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘀𝟰𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 aims to bring together academic, research, industry and clinical organisations to identify investment priorities, define lines of action and leverage innovative projects.

For 2CA-Braga (Clinical Academic Center - Braga), the organiser of this session, this was an important moment for mobilising, connecting, and aligning the different stakeholders in 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 across the region, together with the other partners involved in the initiative —, and .

🚀 𝟮𝗖𝗔-𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗮 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗖𝗥𝗦 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

attended the SCRS European Site Solutions Summit, which took place on 2–3 March in Amsterdam, an event where clinical research professionals from across Europe collaborate to promote excellence in this field.
On this year’s edition, participants were able to attend sessions and discussions focused on the latest trends, challenges and opportunities in the development of clinical trials in Europe.

Events such as this provide valuable opportunities to strengthen collaboration between research sites, sponsors and CROs, while sharing knowledge and best practices in clinical research.
Participation in this international meeting reinforces 2CA-Braga’s commitment to excellence, innovation and collaboration in clinical research.

🔬 Consolidámos mais um passo estratégico na investigação clínica.

Recebemos 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗖𝗶𝗼𝗰𝗲 e 𝗞𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗹𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝗸𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 no âmbito da integração na rede 𝗜𝗡𝗡𝗢𝗗𝗜𝗔 🤝 — etapa final para nos tornarmos uma unidade de ensaios clínicos desta rede europeia dedicada à Diabetes Tipo 1.

A 𝗜𝗡𝗡𝗢𝗗𝗜𝗔 reúne cientistas, clínicos, indústria, associações de pessoas com diabetes e reguladores para acelerar terapias modificadoras da doença.

Esta integração reforça a nossa capacidade de captar e desenvolver ensaios clínicos, promovendo inovação terapêutica.

Agradecimento especial à Drª 𝗗𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗮 𝗕𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗗𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲 pela liderança deste processo.

🔬 This week we took another strategic step in clinical research.

We welcomed 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗖𝗶𝗼𝗰𝗲 e 𝗞𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗹𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝗸𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 as part of our integration into the 𝗜𝗡𝗡𝗢𝗗𝗜𝗔 network 🤝 — the final step toward becoming a clinical trial unit within this leading European Type 1 Diabetes research network.

𝗜𝗡𝗡𝗢𝗗𝗜𝗔 brings together scientists, clinicians, industry, patient organizations, and regulators to accelerate disease-modifying therapies.

Joining this network strengthens our ability to attract and conduct clinical trials, advancing innovation in healthcare.
