Grab yourself a cuppa and come with me, we’re going for a tour of my small biz/ atelier 🫶🏻

I thought it would be a good idea to open the doors of my space and let you peek inside the room ✨

First, let’s start with a little bit of context. I do not have a whole room just for myself, dedicated to my activities, that I can decorate in any way I want without having to compromise anything. But I am so thankful for that🫶🏻
My atelier isn’t just a craft room, it serves my creative work, but also most of my spiritual practices: journaling, meditation…You name it✨

1. My desk, set up. I really enjoy having candles burning nearby when doing creative work.The rest of the creative work happens on the other side of the table. I make sure to clean up my spot at the end of each week to be able to start afresh on Mondays. Clear space, clear mind, clear focus✨
2. The shelving is supposedly keeping my shop-related stuff organized, but I really need to improve this particular area. And I won’t go further talking about the aesthetics of it, because it makes me wanna cry a little bit😅
3. I like painting with watercolors - as a hobby🐣
4. The herbarium. Having this space set up this way allows me to have a sort of ‘Axis Mundi’ to rely on my business with roots🌱
5.The Treasure Nest. Here is the spot where my cat is very much welcome to rest and keep me company while I’m meditating.This spot is comfy enough for me to enjoy sitting here almost every morning. A little ritual of mine: on Mondays, during my meditation sparks a theme, a quality to develop or a shadow to pay attention to, which in turn inspires me for the week ahead🧘🏻‍♀️✨🐈‍⬛

Does being a small business woman mean I have to “show up” on social media?
We’re so often convinced that social media is where we’ll find success - replicating the templates for business success that have been proven to “work”.
Once I believed that my gentler way of doing business was not possible. I thought that my resistance to social media meant that perhaps I just wasn’t willing enough to show up. That I had a fear around being seen. That I should push and force myself to be more ‘outwards.’ That I should override my instincts and just use social media for the sake of my business.
I like trusting that life will direct me to who and what is meant for me, at the right time. If you’re a sensitive, or feminine soul in business, if you’re just starting out or would like to grow your business in gentle, natural + doable to your soul. If are finding healing and inspiration in nature, or reconnecting with your feminine essence, welcome!

Em qual destas 3 versões do feminino estás?

Eu descobri que já estive em três versões distintas do feminino (e muitas vezes uma mistura das três, em momentos diferentes)🧚🏻‍♀️

1. O Feminino Rejeitado
A mulher nesta versão foi fisgada por modos de vida orientados para o masculino e pode se sentir exausta e desalinhada com os seus ciclos. Ela é frequentemente crítica consigo mesma, trabalha incansavelmente e luta por um modo diferente e mais suave de viver, de se relacionar e ser.
Ela afasta-se dos seus verdadeiros desejos e necessidades, e pode achar desafiador se conectar com as emoções e com o coração.
Os seus escudos protetores são o perfeccionismo, o excesso de trabalho, controlar todas as coisas e a realização externa.
