XCell Toxicos Serviços de toxicologia preditiva We are one of the few services in Europe to offer mitochondrial toxicology testing at an affordable price.

The main objective of our XCell TOXICOS service platform is to support companies or individual research groups in predicting the toxicity of single or mixtures molecules with applications in pharmaceutical industry, environmental sciences, nanoparticles and polymer development, food industry, as well as other applications. We offer multiple possibilities of toxicology testing, including assays on

isolated rat liver mitochondria and on diverse primary and transformed human cells. With our experience in cell and mitochondrial toxicology, added to the use of high-throughput protocols and recent technology including the Seahorse XFe96 Extracellular Flux Analyzer or the Cytation 3 Multiplate Reader), makes us a great choice to screen your molecules of interest. Furthermore, we can also screen the anticancer activity of several molecules by using a panel of up to ten human cancer cell lines and two human non-tumor cell lines. In vitro screening studies can be performed in 2D and 3D cell models, depending on the interest of the client. We are in the process of developing alternative toxicity testing models and techniques in order to better serve your requirements. These new screens under development include genotoxicity, chemically-induced epigenetic alterations, as well as the development of arrays for toxicity pathways activation.
