Lisbon Marathon 🇵🇹🏃‍♀️💦
I somehow forgot how tough a marathon actually is 😂 especially when the first 26km are rolling hills and rain! But wow, what a day — amazing vibes and the best cheer squad ever 💛

Huge shoutout to my superstar soul sisters and for being there from start to finish 💕 and to and for keeping me smile along the way! And of course my ❤️ for your support from the distance..

To my surprise… I finished🥈in my age group and 56th woman overall (out of 15,000 runners)

When I signed up back in spring, I thought it would be my little motivation 🥕 to keep running through the guiding/tour season… but of course, I managed to squeeze in plenty of cycling and other fun non running adventures too 🤷‍♀️🚴‍♀️

Massive thanks to coach for somehow keeping it all balanced with only 10–20 hours a week of training. Despite lots guiding and massaging, I could still show up fresh and happy for every start line 🙌

No pressure, no burnout — just pure joy, and a few sore legs 😂 Muito obrigada, Hernâni!

Now… time to rest a little before finding some legs for a gravel race in two weeks 🤪
Age is just a number, right?! 😜✨

🏃‍♂️💚 So proud of my boys!

On Sunday, they took on a 5km and 10km race. When I suggested it, I may have mentioned it would be a nice, flat course… turns out it was actually a trail run! 😅 Hills, rocks, and all the surprises!

But .r210 & didn’t back down — they took on the challenge like champs and ran the whole thing without stopping. 💪

This was ’s first-ever running race — and he went straight for the 10km! 🤯 Just four months ago, he wouldn’t even run 5km… and now look at him go.

You all are my inspiration — proof that determination (and maybe a little bit of stubbornness 😉) can take you anywhere. ❤️

Zumub Protein balls. A healthy & delicious 🤤 little treat!

2 cups almond meal
2 scoops Zumub Chocolate & Vanilla protein powder
15 dates (pitted)
5 tbs Zumub peanut butter
2 tbs maple syrup
Pinch of sea salt (per your liking)

Back home after nearly 3 weeks of guiding — and finally back on my own bike! 🚴‍♂️ Spent the last two days riding the beautiful gravel roads of Sintra, soaking it all in.

Also got the chance to test out my new tires from — the Barlow Pass Endurance. Slick model. They are smooth on the road, and grippy on gravel. Just the kind of balance I need for my mixed terrain sessions.

Can’t wait to really put them to the test — next up: a +200km ride down to the Algarve for a 150km gravel event! And at the end of the month… a big one: .cc, El Camino, a 720km gravel race! Let’s go! 🔥💪 Of course have the best partner in crime ! Who’s using Corkscrew Climb Endurance.

Smiles before but even bigger smiles after! Yesterday was the first day in a long time we had sunshine and some warm weather. My urge to jump into the water was so strong that I called to grab her swim stuff and be ready at 6pm for an after work splash. It has been 14 months since I last swam, and probably 18 month since I last swam in the ocean. But gosh it felt good! We ended up swimming over 1.2km! Happy days! And sore arms today 😅. ❤️

🌟🚴‍♂️ **ICU Gravel World Series Recap!** 🌍✨

What an amazing day! We kicked off the race in Elvas, Portugal, and crossed the finish line in Badajoz, Spain!

123km of stunning views and unforgettable moments!

It was my first big gravel race, and while I lost the main group early on and rode solo for a bit, I met some amazing friends along the way!

Gave it my all, but didn’t secure a spot for the world championship this time. No worries! Just means more training, more skills, and more confidence ahead! 💪🔥

Thank you for waiting a while 1h for me at the finishing line!! 😂❣️🫶

🌟 Celebrating International Women’s Day in an unforgettable way! 🌟

Yesterday, I had the privilege of joining an all-women’s +200km ride organized by ! Despite the challenging winds, heavy rain, and even hail, the incredible strength and resilience of all the women shone through.

It was one of the toughest rides I’ve ever done, due to the crazy weather conditions. I’m so impressed with all the girls, some that had never cycled this distance before, finished the 206km with great smiles and laughter!

Here’s to strong women riding together, breaking barriers, and lifting each other up! 💪💕 Thank you and for sharing the amazing day with me!

We all know that sleep is necessary for our well being. But did you know that sleep is basically the magic key to solve many health related issue?

Today I completed my 3rd trail run and it was my 3rd time finishing🥇 Female 45. I came in 4th female overall (out of 167) and 53 (out of 479) It was a muddy fun run with some very steep climbs. Highest point was +400m! Today though I had to go a bit slower/easier as my left knee wasn’t great. On Wednesday I got hit by a car running. Not bad but hard enough to cause an impact. Great fun to be with my teammates today at the & race.

December is the month that gives you a great opportunity to let go of what you no longer want to give space for what you desire. It’s that time of the year to take time to reflect What did I accomplished? What didn’t I get done? Give yourself credit for your achievements. For the things you didn’t complete, ask yourself: why you didn’t I do this? Is this goal important to bring into the new year? If so, what action do I’ve to take to achieve what I’ve set up to do? Remember that, what’s between you and your goal is you…
“A goal without a plan is just a wish.”– Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

This photo is sums up my feelings for what ultra cycling is all about. We race against each other and we are not aloud to help each other either. But there is nothing in the rules that says we can’t give each other a hug, a supportive hand on the shoulder or some encouragement as you pass. You are strangers but still you share so much together, you feel connected in a way you don’t generally do with your friends in daily life. It’s sportsmanship and friendship in a beautiful combination.
Photo taken in Turkey as I met .dmng at the bike mechanic. Her bike was a quick and easy fix meanwhile mine required a miracle. The hug was to say; “ Se you in Istanbul”!

If you don’t take action, you choose to stay in the situation…

What ever it is, a relationship, work or your sport performance, if you are not happy or satisfied then an action is required to change the situation. If you do not take any action to change you are actually choosing to stay like it is. Sometimes it can feel overwhelming to make the first step, but even small ones, such as simply saying NO, or to read a book for 5 min every day is a first step and an action. Do this every day and it’s create consistency and a momentum towards a change. Don’t be afraid. Start small. Aim big. But start. Otherwise you choose not to change…

Welcome!

I´m Hanna, a qualified sports massage therapist, a triathlete and a mom of two young boys. I was born and raised in Sweden and after living in different parts of the world I found my way to Australia, where I studied and worked for over 10 years and where I met my Australian-Portuguese husband. In 2016 we moved our family to Portugal and we are now based in the beautiful city of Lisbon.

I started practicing massage is 2005 and over the years have gathered a wealth of knowledge that allows me to quickly identify the needs of a varied clientele. I work with a wide range of people, from competitive athletes looking to maximise performance, to office workers holding tension in their bodies from sitting all day, to stay-at-home moms who are juggling household duties and family commitments who need some downtime and stress release. I strongly believe that massage is essential for overall health, for preventing injuries and for managing stress-related illnesses.

I take a holistic approach in life and I’m passionate about health, nutrition and the environment. I believe taking charge of our own health is really important. Preventative healthcare practices such as massage play a vital role in overall health and wellbeing.
