🤝The SafeBorders project brings together a diverse consortium of organisations across Europe, combining world-class research institutions, civil society actors, and governmental partners. Together, we work to prevent child trafficking, protect victims, and strengthen cross-border cooperation.

We unite leading institutions dedicated to evidence-based solutions and policy innovation:
(GR) Themistocles and Dimitris Tsatsos Foundation - Centre for European Constitutional Law: Coordinator of SafeBorders, a distinguished Greek research foundation advancing constitutional law, democratic governance, and the rule of law.
(IT) CESIE ETS: A European centre for studies and initiatives promoting innovation in education, social, economic, and cultural fields
(BG) Center for the Study of Democracy: A research Institute specialised in analysing governance, policy and crime prevention.
(PT) IPS_Innovative Prison Systems: A research-based company dedicated to improving and humanising criminal justice systems through innovation and applied knowledge.
(FI) HEUNI, The European Institute for Crime Prevention and Control: An institute with extensive expertise in crime prevention, justice policies, and cross-border cooperation.

(BE) Missing Children Europe: An advocacy network protecting vulnerable children and promoting victims’ rights.
(RO) ADPARE: A grassroots organisation delivering child protection and family support programmes.
(PL) Vela - Humanitarian Organization for Protection and Education: A humanitarian organisation providing social, legal, and psychological support to vulnerable children and their families.
(PT) Saúde em Português: Non-Governmental Organization for Development and a Welfare Association. Saúde em português seeks to promote social and community integration aiming at the full development of the human being, respecting and ensuring their rights and fundamental freedoms. They carried out cooperation projects for the development, humanitarian aid and emergency projects, awareness projects, social and community intervention and integration projects to support the most vulnerable, strategic and at risk populations.
🏛️ Governmental Expertise
(GR) Ministry of Migration and Asylum: Providing national policy guidance and institutional expertise, ensuring alignment with migration frameworks and child protection strategies at governmental level.
