The New Republik® it's a housing complex with Suites and Apartments for a medium and long term rent also featuring a Hostel for short term stays. The complex The New Republik® is located in the middle area of the protected UNESCO World Heritage Site and made part of buildings from the early nineteeth century which were completely recovered during 2012 and 2013. Under the supervision of DRCC and the monitoring of excavations done by a private office of archeology, remained fully all the architectural features and construction methods outer while inwardly being built according to current engineering methods thus reaching levels of comfort required for buildings of the XXI century. For such, modern materials were used and the choice made by a simple design, yet cozy, designed by the hand of the portuguese arq.Sara Silva. Since the mid-sixteenth century the history of Coimbra begins to revolve around the University, and The New Republik®, with a wonderful view to the University hill, it's located in the very city centre, allowing to feel the city’s pulse of the day-life and night-life, side of the Market, City Hall, pharmacies, Police Station and only 5min walking to the University. The New Republik® it's a tribute to the legendary ancient Republics of Students, so here we hope that you feel like home, while you study hard and party harder. The New Republik® é um complexo habitacional de Suites e Apartamentos para alugueres de média e longa duração dispondo também de Hostel para estadias de curta duração. O complexo The New Republik® está localizado em plena area protegida do Património Mundial da UNESCO e integra edifícios datados do inicio do séc.XIX que foram totalmente recuperados durante 2012 e 2013. Sob a supervisão da DRCC, e com o acompanhamento das escavações feito por um gabinete privado de arqueologia, mantiveram-se na integra as características arquitectónicas e os métodos de construção exteriores enquanto interiormente se construía segundo os métodos de engenharia actuais atingindo assim os níveis de conforto exigidos para prédios do séc.XXI. Para tal foram usados materiais modernos e feita a opção por um design simples, mas acolhedor, projectado pela mão da arq.Sara Silva. Desde meados do séc.XVI que a história de Coimbra passa a girar em torno da Universidade, e The New Republik®, com uma vista fantástica para a Universidade, está localizado bem no centro da cidade, permitindo sentir o pulsar da vida diurna e da vida nocturna, ao lado do Mercado, Câmara Municipal, farmácias, Policia e apenas a 5min a pé da Universidade. The New Republik® é uma homenagem às míticas antigas Repúblicas de Estudantes, por isso desejamos que aqui te sintas como em casa, enquanto estudas bastante e te divertes ainda mais.
