Birth was never meant to be done alone.
Through the ages, women have always given birth with other women.
Mothers, sisters, midwives, wise women —
there has always been someone there to support, to guide, to hold, to witness.
Women were never meant to birth alone.
A doula continues that role today.
Not as a medical professional,
but as a steady, continuous presence.
Someone there to:
• listen
• hold space
• support the partner
• help you stay grounded
• help you feel safe
• remind you of your power to birth
…and so much more that doesn’t fit into words.
✨✨✨
This week we celebrate doulas — their selfless care, presence, and resilience.
Happy Doula Week ❤️
