Unlocking the Power of Pranayama: Benefits for Mind, Body, and Soul
Are you looking to enhance your overall well-being? Dive into the transformative world of pranayama! Pranayama, the ancient practice of breath control in yoga, offers a variety of benefits that can positively impact every aspect of your life.
**Stress Reduction**: In today’s fast-paced world, stress has become a common companion. Pranayama techniques, such as deep breathing and alternate nostril breathing, can activate the body’s relaxation response, helping to alleviate stress and anxiety.
**Improved Respiratory Function**: By practicing pranayama, you can enhance the capacity and efficiency of your lungs. Deep breathing techniques expand lung capacity, increase oxygen intake, and remove toxins from the body, promoting better respiratory health.
**Enhanced Mental Clarity**: The rhythmic breathing patterns of pranayama help calm the mind and improve concentration. Regular practice can sharpen focus, boost cognitive function, and promote mental clarity, making it easier to navigate the challenges of daily life.
**Balanced Energy Levels**: Pranayama balances the flow of prana, or life force energy, throughout the body. By regulating energy levels, pranayama practices can help combat fatigue, increase vitality, and promote a sense of overall well-being.
**Emotional Balance**: Our breath is intimately connected to our emotions. Through pranayama, you can learn to regulate your breath and, consequently, your emotional state. Techniques like Bhramari (humming bee breath) and Ujjayi (victorious breath) can calm the mind, soothe frazzled nerves, and cultivate inner peace.

What I would do in my life without yoga?
To have a healthy day, start with a gentle morning yoga routine, include a mix of yoga poses focusing on strength, flexibility, and relaxation, stay hydrated, eat nourishing foods, and end the day with a calming meditation session. Remember to listen to your body and honor its needs throughout the day.

Kundalini Yoga is an ancient spiritual practice that aims to awaken the energy at the base of the spine.
This discipline combines physical posture (asana), breath control (pranayama), body lock (bandha), hand positions (mudra), meditation and recitation of sacred mantras.
By balancing the chakras and raising Kundalini energy, practitioners can experience a deep sense of self-awareness, inner peace and harmony.
Kundalini Yoga incorporates dynamic and static physical postures, organized into sequences called Kriyas.
These sequences are designed to release tension and blocked energy in the body.
The Kriyas dedicated to improving the health of the nervous system, the liver and the kidneys, as well as those aimed at releasing stress
Meditation and mantra recitation are crucial for calming the mind and developing self-awareness
There are meditations that use particular mudras in combination with breathing patterns that have a calming and balancing impact on the brain..
Come to discover and experience this amazing practice

“A young woman heard a knock on her door one day. When she went to open it, she found an old man on her door step. ‘Come in, come in,’ she said. The man asked, ‘Is your husband home?’ The woman explained that her husband was not home, but she invited the man inside anyway.
He refused, however. ‘I am here with my two friends,’ pointing to two elderly men waiting in the front yard. ‘However, we will wait outside until your husband returns.’
That evening as soon as the husband came home, his wife told him what had happened. ‘Quick, quick, call them inside,’ the husband exclaimed. ‘We cannot leave old men standing in the cold outside.’
So, the woman went outside and beckoned the men in. One of them rose and said, ‘Ma’am, all three of us cannot actually come in. You see, I am Love, and with me are Success and Wealth. Only one of us can enter your home. Please, go and ask your husband which of us he would like in the home.’ So, the woman went and after relaying the story to her husband, said, ‘I think we should invite Success in. Then, you will get the promotion you’ve been waiting for and we will become more prosperous.’
However, the husband thought and said, ‘But, Honey, I only want the promotion so we can be rich. If we invite Wealth into our home, then it won’t matter if I get the promotion, because we will already be rich. I think Wealth is a better choice.’

Some of my advises that helped me all these years through my yoga journey
Learn Basic Poses:
Start with foundational yoga poses such as Mountain Pose (Tadasana), Downward-Facing Dog (Adho Mukha Svanasana), and Child’s Pose (Balasana). Focus on proper alignment and breathing techniques.
Incorporate Breathing Techniques:
Pranayama, or yogic breathing, is integral to yoga practice. Learn basic breathing techniques like Ujjayi breath (victorious breath) to synchronize with movement and promote relaxation.
Listen to Your Body:
Honor your body’s limitations and avoid pushing yourself into discomfort or pain. Modify poses as needed and focus on gradual progress over time.

What is Restorative Alignment ?
Due to a sedentary lifestyle and elevated levels of stress people suffer more and more physical and psychological problems.
It involves gentle poses and stretches that are held for longer periods, allowing the body to relax and release tension. The Props are used to support the body in passive poses, making it accessible for people of all fitness levels.
It is ideal for those seeking to unwind, improve flexibility, and cultivate a sense of inner calm.
With the practice of Restorative alignment the focus is on achieving proper body positioning and support to promote relaxation and healing. It involves using props such as blankets, bolsters, and blocks allowing muscles to relax deeply without strain.
It also involves the use of supportive tools, such as the BackMitra®, helping to relax the superficial muscles of the back and lower part of the body, preparing them for sequences that will give them greater mobility and strength.

PENUMBRAL LUNAR ECLIPSE
MAR 25 12:12AM PDT / MAR 25 8:12AM CET / MAR 25 6:12PM AEDT
MOONTHLY THEME:
ACTION, CONFIDENCE + LEADERSHIP
LIBRA FULL MOON ILLUMINATION:
I release all seeds of doubt in my relationships, this helps me make the best decisions for my wellbeing.
The turning of the wheel continues.
We just passed through the Equinox; the beginning of Aries season and the astrological new year. The beginning of a new cycle through the 12 signs once again. And now eclipse season is upon us, fast tracking a clear out with the Libra full moon, leading us to a total eclipse on the Aries new moon.
Eclipse pairs are pathways of realignment through polarity. I see them as an energetic detox or spinal adjustment.
The Aries-Libra axis pushes and pulls us between individuality and partnership, self-expression and cooperation, and independence and interdependence. These opposing forces invite us to find balance with these aspects within ourselves and in our relationships.
We have the opportunity to go deep, to create change and adjustments, move limitations, and alter the structure and integrity of our connections. We can explore growth in how we relate, how we define ourselves and where our edges are, how we find balance and harmony when different beliefs or perceptions meet, and how we navigate collectively without losing our individuality, and vice versa.
Think timeline jumping but amplified. Think transformation through opposing forces. Think closures and endings to make space for a different reality.
Eclipses have intrigued humans since the beginning of time and have been observed as times when past karma is resolved, new paths are illuminated, and we are guided towards our higher purpose or life’s mission. They are not something to be afraid of.
Observe your experience this eclipse cycle, write down what you noticed before, between the two moons, and at the moments of eclipse.

Back in Thailand, in 2019 I have got the certification of Aerial Yoga (from ULU yoga style-concept )
This style has been for me an enthusiastic new yoga concept, which can merge between a traditional discipline and a more modernised practice with the use of a firm and strong fabrics that help create an exercise in gravity and thus deeper muscle stretches with its own gravitational weight capacity.
Beside all of my Yoga addiction, my main job for most of my life has been in the Travel Industry, as a Tour Operator, Event organiser and Travel Agent, which has been also the reason of such many moves all over the Globe.
Since I was young I had this spontaneous vocation, of the endless traveler, so I have studied to become a Tour Operator that would have allowed me to travel and working.
As most of us, I have started my job experiences from the bottom, working in a Touristic Information Office, Tour Guiding, Travel Agency and then my first step abroad in 1998, not Socials not many cell phones and that was the greatest adventure of a new life path for me.
UK, New York, and then back to England, once again back to USA, this time to California State, then Costa Rica , Thailand. Back to Central America, this time to North Mexico. Yet not feeling ready to settle another move to South East Asia, Vietnam. Followed to a very short stop to Brazil and then back to the roots of my own Country, Italy.
But you know, a vocational traveler always has itchy feet, and I took another move, this time to the Canaries Island to end up to my present home, Portugal.
Love at the first sight, and here I am still and happy in this Paradise called Madeira Island.
