✨DIY Deodorant Spray✨
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🍃In a 4oz glass spray bottle:
💧Fill half of the bottle with unscented vodka or unscented witch hazel
💧20 drops each of of Lemon, Bergamot, Lavender, and Tea Tree Essential Oils (but feel free to use any blend of oils that you’d like!)
💧Then, fill the rest of the bottle with distilled white vinegar
🍃To use: shake well and apply 2 spritz to each underarm and then allow it to dry (about a minute or so) before putting clothes on

It might take a few ways to get used to it but this is one of my favorite DIY deodorant recipes! 🤩

🌿 Thieves Cleaning Bombs 🌿

Think bath bomb/fizzy, but for easy, toxin-free, smells-amazing cleaning.

These things are perfect to toss in the sink, tub, toilet, or jars/bottles that need a quick cleaning in between scrubbing.

Here’s what you need & how to make them:

🌿 1 cup baking soda

🌿 1/2 cup citric acid

🌿 1 TBSP Thieves Household Cleaner

🌿 25 drops of Citrus Fresh, Orange, Lemongrass, or whatever YL oil you love to clean with

🌿 Plastic or silicone mold
(Silicone ice cube trays are perfect)

Combine baking soda & citric acid in a bowl. Make sure there’s not clumps. I use a strainer.

In a separate, small bowl, mix the Cleaner & EOs together.

Slowly pour the liquid mix in with the dried mix. Take a large spoon, or your use hands like I do, & make sure it’s allllll mixed together. It should kinda feel like play dough at the end, being able to hold its shape when you grab some in your hand.

Fill your mold no more than half way with the mix, pressing down firmly so there’s no air pockets. You’ll want to fill just 1/4 or half way in the mold because the mix will swell a bit as it settles & dries, kinda resembling a marshmallow. (Perfect look for cleaning fizzies!)

Let them dry in the mold(s) overnight.

🧽 To use, toss one in a sink full of hot water & dirty dishes, into the toilet once a day to keep it fresh & clean (some like to place one in at night, scrub or just flush in the morning!), or break off smaller pieces to put in jars or bottles filled with hot water to clean those hard to reach spots.

Store them in an airtight container.

🌿 Using plant oils makes cleaning FUN, & most importantly, safe & healthy. 🙌🏻
