On the scope of the program "O cientista regressa à escola" organized by the Native Scientists, the Agrupamento de Escolas do Sudeste de Baião received the scientist Diana Soares da Costa, from the University of Minho, 3B's Research Group. A game was developed to explain the role of sugars in the communication of cancer cells, showing that cancer cells use sugars to deceive the immune system, escaping its control.

No âmbito do programa "O cientista regressa à escola" dinamizado pela Native Scientists, Agrupamento de Escolas do Sudeste de Baião , recebeu a visita da cientista Diana Soares da Costa, da Universidade do Minho, Grupo de Investigação 3B's. Foi feito um jogo com o objetivo de explicar a importância dos açúcares na comunicação das células de cancro, demonstrando que as células de cancro usam os açúcares para enganarem o sistema imunitário fugindo ao controle das nossas células de defesa!
