JOURNAL | The Body of the Cosmos . Embodying the Plant Intelligence

When the insight descends into the body, revelation becomes rhythm.
The medicine doesn’t only open the mind, it reconfigures the electric field of our being, teaching the organs to trust again, to pulse with truth instead of defense. 🌿⚡

Integration is not remembering what we saw, but becoming what we understood.
Through ritual, through the vegetal allies that work with the limbic system, oils, teas, touch, breath, we imprint the new codes revealed by the plant.

This reflection explores the meeting point between biology and cosmology, where the nervous system mirrors the cosmos, and the body becomes the temple of intelligence itself.

Quando o insight desce ao corpo, a revelação se torna ritmo.
A medicina não abre apenas a mente, ela reconfigura o campo elétrico do nosso ser, ensinando os órgãos a confiarem novamente, a pulsarem com a verdade em vez da defesa. 🌿⚡

Integrar não é lembrar o que vimos, mas tornar-nos o que compreendemos.
Através do ritual, dos aliados vegetais que dialogam com o sistema límbico, óleos, chás, toque, respiração, instalamos no corpo os novos códigos revelados pela planta.

There are truths I only remembered once I listened with my body. This entry is a love letter to the vegetal world, the way it invites us back into our skin, our breath, our ancient knowing. The plants have always been mirrors for me: of grief, of awakening, of consciousness itself.
Through Pluto’s call and the body’s response, I’ve come to see the vegetal world as a mirror 🪞 for consciousness itself. siendo has given me the space to listen, and to share what I hear. xx💜

Há verdades que só recordei quando comecei a escutar com o corpo. Esta entrada é uma carta de amor ao mundo vegetal — à forma como ele nos convida de volta à pele, à respiração, ao saber ancestral. As plantas sempre foram espelhos para mim: do luto, do despertar, da própria consciência.

The gift of Sasank, the Leaf that Sweeps the Spirit 🍃

Before the sacred plants are invited, before the altar breathes, we begin with Sasank,
that moves with the air, that listens with the wind,
that remembers how to sweep away all that does not belong.

In the Shuar tradition, Sasank guides through hands that know the way, through gestures that stir the invisible.
Its sacred role is to cleanse through movement, to disturb the stagnant forces, to part the veils.

We sweep the body, not just skin and bone,
but the aura, the memory, the burdens carried in silence.
We sweep the crown, the heart, the soles of the feet. We sweep the back, where betrayal lingers. We sweep the belly, where fear hides.
We sweep until the spirit shines through.

“Con la hoja, invocamos al viento. Con el viento, devolvemos lo que no es nuestro.”
With the leaf, we invoke the wind. With the wind, we return what is not ours.

This is the first alliance, not with the plant medicines, but with the element that breathes life into all things.

The Mutable Mirror | Sheading the Skins of Identity

There are seasons when identity feels like an anchor, solid, grounding, certain. And there are others when it becomes a shell we’ve outgrown, cracking open to let the new life breathe. The Sun, Moon, and Rising weave our triangle of self, shifting with the tides of time, yet always inviting us to ask: what is still true, and what is ready to be shed?

Honoring the Keepers of the Amazon 🌿
Today, on Indigenous Peoples’ Day, I stand in deep reverence for the guardians of the Amazon, the ancestral heart of our planet.

While the current government in Ecuador moves to sell and exploit this sacred land, we are called to remember:
The Amazon is not a resource.
It is a living being, the breath of the Earth.

To honor what sustains us means to give back, to the land, to the people, to the wisdom keepers who have protected this balance for generations.

As I prepare to return to the Ecuadorian Amazon for our next retreat, my intention is clear | To listen, to contribute, and to ensure that every step we take nourishes what has nourished us all.

Awareness is the first act of resistance.
Gratitude, the first act of repair.

15 Years of Alchemy | Our Love, Our Family

With respect and with faith in our own path, we have walked these 15 years creating not just a marriage, but a family and a life of our own making. We faced the challenges of our parents’ stories, crossed borders, became parents ourselves, and even built businesses side by side.

Through it all, we learned that love is not the absence of challenge, it is the resilience to grow through it together. To witness each other’s transformation, to let one another be free, and to keep showing up with compassion has been the true fire that sustains our passion.

Today I honor my companion, my partner, my love, the one who has held me as I leapt, as I shed, as I created anew. 15 years of alchemizing everything our souls carry, into devotion, into freedom, into love that continues to evolve.

And with all my heart, I thank your soul, for allowing me to witness its becoming, for trusting me with your vulnerability, and for bearing the mirror of my own.

This 15th year is sealed by the Arcano XV | the Arcana of sacred fire, of creative force, of the passion that refines instead of consumes. It teaches us that love matures not by restraint, but by embracing the full vitality of life together. It is the number of alchemy: where desire transforms into devotion, and freedom becomes a conscious choice to remain bound in love.

Fifteen years ago, we met on the mat, at the threshold of my sabbatical, as I was leaving New York. What began as practice became path, what began as breath became bond.

In the dance of opposites we bow,
in the union of breath we rise,
in love as in yoga, we find our path to eternity.

And as you once said, “in the next lifetime we will find each other sooner” may we keep leaping together, into the next ring of spirals,
into every parallel unfolding where love calls us home. 💜💚 te amo

FREQUENCY | In surrender, I return to essence.
In essence, I learn to relate.

This weekend’s eclipse reminds us | eclipses are not for rituals we create, but for rituals already written in the sky.
They move us from within. They ask us to surrender, to let the cosmos show us the choreography beyond our control.

In this surrender, we return to the Virgoan self, pure essence, uncluttered truth.
From there, we move toward Libra’s constellation, where healing happens through relationship, balance, and the sacred art of exchange.

✨ The invitation is simple |
Be humble before the sky.
Let the greater rhythm guide the smaller one within.
Trust the dance of light and shadow to shape what is ready to emerge. BELIEVE.

The Rhythm I Remember

I was born in a house of minds, but I spoke in color, moved in meaning.
A girl between brothers, burning with justice I couldn’t yet name.

My mother gave me wings,taught me that difference is a kind of truth.

I trusted myself early. Dove deep. Spoke to silence.

My worth was never for sale.
It grew in beauty, in structure, in spaces I made sacred with breath and care.

I left home young, planted roots in foreign soil.
Broke systems that asked me to betray myself. And from that rupture,
I created. Not to impress, but to connect.

Through art, through motion, through stillness and scent, I began to build an inner temple, a life of rhythm, ritual, and return.

I became mother to a child, and to my own becoming.

I fought with love. I held with fire.
And the plants, the quiet ones, taught me how to listen without needing to speak.

I’ve walked through loss, through the soft grief of shedding every mask that wasn’t mine.

And still, I remain, fierce and open, a guide of the threshold, a witness of light returning. xx 💜

On Storytelling and the Two Worlds | A Spiritual Autobiography
This is the most intimate entry I’ve written, my story traced through the zodiac, through the twelve houses of becoming. Not a curriculum vitae, but a living spiral of silence, rage, devotion, rebirth. It took siendo for me to see that my story isn’t separate from my medicine, it is the mirror 🪞.
