KAICIID The International Dialogue Centre (KAICIID) The Centre also combats all forms of discrimination based on culture, religion or belief.

KAICIID is an intergovernmental organization whose mandate is to promote the use of dialogue globally to prevent and resolve conflict, to enhance understanding and cooperation. KAICIID’s mandate is to foster dialogue among people of different religions and cultures to build bridges and instil mutual respect. Intercultural and interreligious dialogue helps build communities’ resistance against prejudice, strengthens social cohesion, supports conflict prevention, and can serve to preserve peace. As an international organization, KAICIID supports the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, in particular the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion. We implement programmes to overcome stereotypes in a long-term process that leads to a culture of dialogue that enables greater understanding of people of other cultures and followers of other religions.

As a humanitarian actor and Master’s student at the University of Bangui, Kossadoum Jennifer has seen firsthand the impact of crises in the .

Through KAICIID’s module, she has gained both the scientific and practical tools to navigate diversity, manage conflict, and help communities move forward.

Jennifer is already applying what she’s learned in her humanitarian work, and she dreams of founding an organisation to guide civil society in resolving disputes the right way, for lasting .
