Johanna is a passionate yoga practitioner, explorer, nature lover and surfer. She is a registered and experienced Yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance International and has been teaching Yoga full-time in Portugal and in France since 2015. Johanna undertook her first Yoga teacher training in the beautiful Himalayan mountain province of Dharamsala in 2015 and learned about the styles of Hatha, Vinyasa,
Ashtanga and Yin Yoga. In 2018 she went back to South Goa, India and continued training with Trimurti Yoga School based on 5 Elements Yoga, Yin Yoga, Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Through Yoga she found a passion for Anatomy and working holistically with bodies and energetic systems via touch and Massage. She trained with Katrin Heuser, Founder of Hadadi School of Thai Massage in Lisbon and became a Thai Yoga Massage Therapist in 2015. Thai Yoga Massage is a beautiful combination of energy work, physiotherapy and supported stretches to release blockages in the body. It is extremely beneficial for everyone interested in alternative methods to bring body and mind back into balance. Johanna also trained with Portugals Laughter Yoga ambassador Sabrina Tacconi to become a Laughter Yoga leader and offers private sessions and workshops online and in person. The Roll Model Method is another addition to her skills that she uses in private Yoga classes and workshops. It is a self-care Myofascia Massage method, using Yoga tune up Massage Balls of different sizes to erase pain and enhance performance and proprioception in the body. For Johanna, Yoga is one of the best ways to keep physically and mentally healthy - its the ultimate Form of balance. By practising and sharing her knowledge she feels that she can bring peace and harmony into every day of her life and empower her students to feel better in their mind and bodies.
