Today we celabrate the World Tree Day and the International Forest Day, an important date to reflect on our role in preserving and respecting the environment. What can we do to help?
- Reduce, reuse and recycle
Whenever possible, reduce the use of paper and choose to use recycled items. Small gestures also have an impact.
– Trash is a luxury
Take care of green spaces as if they were your home – because planet Earth is our first andonly home. Don't leave trash behind, don't allow it to be littered around you and take the opportunity whenever you can to alert younger generations about the importance of sustainability.

New project! BA GAC XUAN THUY, a Contemporary Vietnamese Grill & Bar boasts now an elegant and luxurious space, and a lush green wall at the entrance, developed with the Minigarden Vertical System and including automatic drip irrigation. Because only the Vertical system can withstand direct sunlight up to 45 degrees Celsius. A new urban oasis in the middle of Ho Chi Mihn City thanks to another fantastic work by the Khang Ngoc Khanh team (Minigarden representatives in Vietnam).

How can you create a green wall with over 1000 live plants, automatic drip irrigation and photosynthetic lights in a commercial area with no water supply for irrigation and no wall support for the vertical garden structure? With the Minigarden® system this is possible. 💚 Great challenges can lead to great results, as was the case with this excellent project developed by the Khang Ngoc Khanh team (Minigarden representatives in Vietnam) for the reception of a HONDA showroom space in Vĩnh Phúc, Vietnam. Fantastic work!

From Ecuador we travel this week to the capital of Portugal, Lisbon and to the famous JNCQUOI Asia restaurant. The project developed gave rise to one of the largest vertical gardens in Portugal, with approximately 4200 plants that release a considerable amount of daily oxygen in one of the busiest areas of Lisbon, Avenida da Liberdade.
The installation of our vertical systems was carried out by the gardening and landscaping company Relva Viva. One of the major challenges of this project was the requalification of the existing terrace, so that it could serve as a green scenery for the interior of the restaurant.
The entire terrace was covered with vertical gardens, thus creating true corners of nature surrounded by lush tropical greenery. Having a meal in this outdoor patio has become truly unique, a new space where the privacy of conversations is guaranteed by the excellent acoustic performance provided by the leafy foliage of the vertical gardens and the air humidity controlled by the plants on hot days. a relaxing effect on people who enjoy this extraordinary sensory and gastronomic experience.
Another area that underwent a notable requalification was the access staircase of Av. da Liberdade to the restaurant. Here the challenge was to overcome the fact that this area is in the shade 365 days of the year. But almost 4 years later, the plants remain vigorous and with low maintenance, despite the lack of direct light, thanks to our vertical gardens and the excellent work of the company Relva Viva.

Last week we went to Ecuador to visit a project in a multifamily residential building. The Minigarden Ecuador team (Flores & Jardines) was challenged to install several outdoor vertical gardens with the aim of surrounding the building with plants, since the existing green outdoor spaces were sparse.
Although the installations were made in an existing and occupied building, they were carried out without the need of new construction works, thus showing our system's excellent capacity to adapt to this project limitation and to create innovative, practical and functional vertical gardens that brought back the beauty and benefits of nature to a urban area. A fantastic project by a top professional team.

We revisited this site recently and noticed that after 6 years (2017 – 2023), the plants covering the pillars of this viaduct in Vietnam are still vigorous, with very little annual maintenance. Yet another example of Nature overcoming concrete, thanks to the Minigarden vertical systems. Our solutions can transform and qualify this type of gray urban infrastructures thanks to the ability of the Minigarden modular system to adapt to other types of forms, thus bringing more green, more biodiversity to cities.
