Vamos conhecer a história de Julia. Ela, minha cliente, se tornou Juíza Federal, mas enfrentava uma luta interna. A certeza de que não conseguiria desempenhar seu papel e a resistência em mudar de cidade desencadearam fibromialgia em seu corpo. Dores musculares intensas, rigidez matinal, pernas inquietas e sensibilidade a ruídos. Ela se sentia exausta e debilitada.

A fibromialgia está relacionada com a paralisação do corpo, pois ele não consegue fazer o que quer ou precisa fazer. Essa condição está ligada a conflitos de incapacidade ou impotência, de não querer fazer o que precisa, de não poder ou querer fazer o que as pessoas esperam que o paciente faça.

Quando tentamos fazer algo e não conseguimos, isso mexe profundamente com nossa biologia, gerando conflitos de desvalorização, que podem resultar na fibromialgia.

Fatores que você precisa saber para curar a sua Fibromialgia
1. Identificação do Conflito: Pergunte "O que na minha vida quero fazer e não estou conseguindo?" Busque conflitos de incapacidade.
2. Trabalhe na causa: entenda por que a fibromialgia ocorre naquele músculo e por que você sente essa dor.
3. Trabalhe nas crenças de sua capacidade.

How the 4 Types of Attachment Developed in Childhood Affect Our Relationships

Have you ever wondered why you repeat certain patterns in your relationships? Why, at the peak of a relationship, you feel like your partner will leave you? Or why you feel the urge to withdraw when your partner becomes too involved? Attachment theory may hold the answers to these questions.

The Origin of Attachment Theory

Attachment theory, developed by British psychoanalyst John Bowlby in the mid-20th century, aimed to understand the effects of parental separation on children. More than six decades later, it remains pivotal in studying human relationships. The core idea is that children need to develop a secure attachment bond with at least one primary caregiver to develop emotionally and socially in a healthy manner.

Bowlby emphasized that this attachment is crucial "from the cradle to the grave." The bond with parents in childhood forms a model upon which we build and interpret our relationships throughout life. "Early attachment relationships are internalized into mental representations or cognitive schemas throughout childhood. They shape children's expectations about subsequent relationships with peers, romantic partners, and their own children," explains Marinus van IJzendoorn, a researcher at University College London.

Types of Attachment: From Childhood to Adulthood

Attachment theory has evolved, and Bowlby and Ainsworth identified four main attachment types:

1. **Secure Attachment**: Children who feel loved and secure explore the world around them, are sociable, and play with other children. When with parents, they seek comfort and reassurance but also feel free to explore and play.

2. **Anxious Attachment**: Children who feel insecure constantly seek proximity to their parents. When separated, they become highly distressed and, upon reunion, may be difficult to soothe. This attachment is characterized by a constant fear of abandonment.

3. **Avoidant Attachment**: Children who develop this attachment type tend to avoid closeness with parents. When separated, they show little distress and, upon reunion with parents, avoid physical contact. These children have learned to cope independently with a lack of affection.

4. **Disorganized Attachment**: Children with disorganized attachment display mixed behaviors, alternating between anxious and avoidant attachment behaviors. This attachment type is often associated with traumatic experiences or abuse.

Attachment in Adulthood

Years later, Phillip Shaver and Cindy Hazan extended attachment theory to adults. They found that the attachment types identified by Ainsworth in childhood also apply to romantic relationships. Adults may exhibit the following patterns:

1. **Anxious Attachment**: They seek high levels of intimacy and approval from partners, feeling extremely dependent on them. These individuals often fear relationship instability, seeking constant validation and care.

2. **Avoidant Attachment**: They value independence and avoid intimacy. They see themselves as emotionally self-sufficient and do not feel the need for emotional closeness with others. They struggle to trust and seek emotional support from partners.

3. **Secure Attachment**: They openly express their emotions, seek support when needed, and have good self-esteem. They are capable of resolving conflicts, communicating effectively, and feeling comfortable with intimacy without fear of excessive dependency.

4. **Disorganized Attachment**: They alternate between anxious and avoidant attachment behaviors. They desire intimacy but also feel uncomfortable with it. These individuals may fluctuate between seeking and avoiding emotional closeness.

Complexity of Attachment Types

Professor Marinus van IJzendoorn emphasizes that identifying attachment types is not straightforward. "It's not about filling out an internet questionnaire," he states. "It's more complex. The interview approach is the best way to measure attachment in adults and predict their behavior," he adds.

Additionally, attachment types can change throughout life. Experiences with caregivers, partners, friends, or therapists can alter our memories of attachment and put us on a different path. "Attachment is only modestly stable over development," explains van IJzendoorn.

Tips for Parents

As Ainsworth noted, the core of our attachment style forms in early childhood, roughly between six months and two years old. While change is possible throughout life, attachment theory is useful in suggesting ways to raise children. Van IJzendoorn states that three parenting characteristics impact children's social lives into adulthood: safety, stability, and sharing.

Building Secure Attachment

To foster secure attachment, it is essential to:
- **Be available to meet children's needs**: Validate their emotions and engage in their interests.
- **Create a safe environment**: Free from abuse or family violence, with stable and continuous care.
- **Establish a support network**: Children need reliable attachment figures in stressful circumstances.

Conclusion

Developing secure attachment in childhood is just one of many factors contributing to healthy and happy relationships. There are other social and emotional variables that are equally important. Attachment theory, as highlighted by psychologist Coda Derrig, "is a lens we can use to understand who we are and why we behave the way we do in relationships."

The Four Types of Toxic Parents

A few years ago, Argentine psychologist Camila Saraco noticed a common pattern among many of her patients: a "toxic upbringing." It's not just the abusive parent who can be considered toxic. "There are many ways parents can cause harm, often unconsciously," Saraco says. Motivated by these observations, she created the course "Toxic Parents" to help people understand which parental behaviors are harmful, the consequences for children, and how to cope with these challenges.

Saraco emphasizes that a bad parent is not necessarily a bad person. "There are many parents who, out of love, end up being toxic without realizing it," she explains. Mexican psychologist Joseluis Canales, author of "Toxic Parents: Dysfunctional Legacy of Childhood," shares this view, highlighting that even very kind parents can be harmful if they fail to exercise authority. He stresses that all parents make mistakes, but that doesn't automatically make them toxic.

**What Makes an Upbringing Unhealthy?**

Canales explains that parents have two main functions: "To give love to their children and to prepare them for life." Some parents fail to offer love, while others do not adequately prepare their children for the world. This failure, interestingly, can vary across generations. Parents from the Baby Boomer and Generation X generations often struggled to provide emotional support, resulting in adults with low self-esteem and relationship problems. In contrast, the problem in recent decades has been overprotection, creating children who cannot cope with frustrations and challenges.

**Characteristics of Toxic Parents**

Both men and women can be toxic parents. When both parents are involved in upbringing, the damage can be caused by both. "If one member of the couple is toxic, the other often becomes a passive abuser," Canales notes. Below, we highlight some characteristics of toxic parents, according to experts:

1. **Abusive**
Parents who sexually abuse or are physically violent cause deep damage. However, physical abuse is not necessary for significant harm. Verbal and emotional aggression, such as disqualifying a child or insulting them, can be equally harmful. Canales points out that these abuses can become an internal voice in the child, making healing even more difficult.

2. **Manipulative**
Manipulation is a form of emotional abuse, where the parent uses guilt to blackmail the child and get what they want. Saraco notes that this behavior is more common in toxic mothers, especially in relationships with adult daughters. This can create a constant feeling of guilt in the daughter, making relationships and independence difficult.

3. **Controlling**
Toxic parents of different generations share this characteristic. While in the past parents imposed aggressive limits, today they do so to "protect" their children. Examples include forcing certain career choices or family traditions. Overprotection prevents children from learning to cope with frustration, which is essential for healthy development.

4. **Negligent**
Permissive parents, who are afraid to impose limits, can be considered negligent. They neglect their children's emotional, physical, social, and academic needs, allowing inappropriate and irresponsible behaviors. This type of upbringing can result in children who are unable to adapt to adult and social life, creating a generation of "tyrant children."

**How to Deal with Toxic Parents**

If you grew up with permissive and overprotective parents, it is necessary, as an adult, to decide to break free from this overprotection. "You can't ask a child to break free from a toxic protective bond," Saraco warns. To deal with abusive, controlling, and manipulative parents, here are some practical tips:

1 - Accept that you can't change them.** It's important to lose the illusion that you can change your parents.
2 - Avoid pointless arguments.** Don't try to argue or understand their perspective, as this often leads to unresolved conflicts.
3 - Set emotional and physical boundaries.** Learn to say no and protect your emotional space.
4 - Strengthen your self-esteem.** Work on becoming more confident and not giving in to manipulations.
5 - Relearn what true love is.** Unlearn incorrect notions of love and learn to build healthy relationships.

A alopecia, pode ser resultado de conflitos emocionais profundos.

Vamos explorar o caso de Julia, minha cliente, que perdeu o pai e o avô paterno em um acidente quando tinha apenas 12 anos. Ambos eram negros e tinham cabelos crespos.

O Pai costumava trançar seu cabelo Afro. A mãe de Julia, sentindo raiva pela perda do marido, passou a aplicar produtos para alisar os cabelos da filha, dizendo que ela tinha o "cabelo ruim dos negros da família paterna".
Essa agressão emocional deixou marcas profundas em Julia.

Já adulta, Julia desenvolveu alopecia, uma manifestação física de:
1 - o trauma de separação referente à parte do corpo que não tem mais um contato físico (falta do toque das mãos dos Pai enquanto trançava seus cabelos).
2- o trauma com sua mãe violenta.
3 - vontade insconsciente de retirar os cabelos negros para agradar a Mãe.
4 - traumas de vidas passadas

A medicina tradicional vê a alopecia como uma doença autoimune, mas na visão do ThetaHealing, entendemos que são nossos conflitos emocionais que desencadeiam essas condições.

O corpo responde a um conflito de separação. A alopecia é uma oportunidade para identificar e reprogramar esses traumas e trazer a cura. Com a resolução do conflito, o cabelo pode voltar a crescer.

Hello, dear friends ! 👋🌍

Today I want to share a bit of my journey and my life mission: to help people expand their consciousness and find healing for their challenges. I'm Jordane Marques, a psychotherapist and master instructor of the ThetaHealing® technique, dedicated to providing powerful tools to transform lives.

Since 1996, my journey began in Law, where I became a university professor for 12 years in Brazilian universities, later specializing in Psychology and Civil Law. Along the way, I realized that conventional tools, though helpful, weren't sufficient for people's full evolution and happiness.

That's when I delved into research and studies in Quantum Physics, Clinical Hypnotherapy, Systemic Coaching, Business Coaching, NLP, Reiki, Planetary Crystal Therapy, Access Consciousness®️, and finally, ThetaHealing®️. These techniques not only expanded my understanding but also became the foundation of my work as an expert in reading akashic records and systemic family constellation, focused on co-creating success and abundance for my clients.

With over 8,500 hours as a psychotherapist by May 2024, I apply quantum therapies in my private practice, helping individuals and businesses (re)create their realities. My passion has always been teaching, sharing knowledge, and expanding people's consciousness.

Who is Jordane Marques

Hello, dear friends,

Today I want to share a bit about my journey with you, especially for those who may not know me well yet. I am Jordane Marques, a ThetaHealing Master Instructor, Psychotherapist, International Speaker, Entrepreneur, and Mentor for Integrative Entrepreneurs. Since 2010, I have dedicated my life to helping people heal and transform, facilitating profound and lasting changes in their lives.

My Journey
My academic journey began in Law, where I became a university professor in Brazil and specialized in Clinical Psychoanalysis. Currently, I am pursuing a Master's in Psychology at FPCEUP in Porto, Portugal. Over the years, my thirst for knowledge and desire to help others led me to explore various therapeutic techniques. I became a trainer and facilitator in Systemic Family Constellations, Traditional Reiki, Multidimensional Therapy, Arcturian Multidimensional Healing, Crystal Therapy, Magnified Healing, among other 84 courses in my curriculum.

My passion and dedication to ThetaHealing® led me to achieve the highest qualification in the field, earning global recognition. Today, I am privileged to have students in over 30 countries, and I am deeply grateful for each one of them.

Overcoming and Transformation
My personal journey has been one of profound overcoming. I have faced extreme adversities and traumas, but I have managed to heal and transform myself. Today, I use my experience to empower others to do the same. I work with clients worldwide, offering powerful sessions and workshops to help change deeply rooted traumas and limiting beliefs, providing healing at a quantum level and radical transformation.

I also offer training and mentoring for Healers and Integrative Therapists, helping them integrate powerful new tools into their practices. Since childhood, I have always felt called to care for people. Over the years, I realized that healing from the soul was the path that made sense to me.

Art and Self-Confidence
My connection with art has always been strong. As a visual artist, I brought beauty and peace to many people. I discovered in art and photography powerful tools for my work as a Women's Coach. Over the past six years, I have helped strengthen the self-esteem of over 1200 women. In 2015, I had the honor of exhibiting a photograph of a dancer, co-created by me, at the Louvre Museum.

Furthermore, I worked to strengthen the careers of music and photography artists, as well as social impact entrepreneurs.

Music and Spirituality
Although I have always been a fan of classic rock and blues, I never played an instrument until I heard the ancestral call. I built my own shamanic drum and learned to play drums and Tibetan healing bowls through music. After overcoming my limiting beliefs through Coaching, Clinical Hypnosis, and ThetaHealing, I discovered that my voice was even more powerful.

Accepting my power of public speaking, I began lecturing and speaking publicly on Connection and Prosperity, Abundance Retrieval, and my discoveries, sharing how they can contribute to improving the world we live in. I have been a speaker at entrepreneurship events alongside UNISUL, ACATE, Municipal Governments, and the State Legislative Assembly of Santa Catarina.

Personal Life
I am a multifaceted woman. In addition to being a skilled cook and ballroom dancer, I am a mother to a young woman, a lover of cinema and classic rock. I don't watch horror movies because I believe they co-create a reality I don't wish to engage with.

My journey of healing and self-discovery has shown me that while we are in flesh, we are spirit. God, in His infinite wisdom, allowed me to discover the importance of academic knowledge, as well as the depth of biographical counseling and systemic and shamanic family constellations. These discoveries demolished my "sandcastle" and reconnected me with my purpose.

My Purpose
Since my soul was born, my work has always been HEALING. Whenever fear has pulled me away from my purpose, the Path has always brought me back. My life's dream is to make one person whole, but my bigger dream is to make thousands of people whole, sharing about Spirituality, Freedom, and Career at the UN, bringing economic empowerment to men and women worldwide.
