First encounter of the Iyengar Yoga Community in Portugal 🇵🇹 celebrating yoga and union with a shared practice guided by the senior teacher Inês Forjaz at .
Happy to see the community consolidating and growing as it included certified teachers and teachers in training or mentoring. Others joined online from different areas of Portugal. There was a warm and very social atmosphere ☺️✨ looking forward to the next gathering!

Another bachelorette party practicing yoga! 💗 This time it was Alice’s 👰, visiting from Valladolid, Spain 🇪🇸. We enjoyed a fun and invigorating practice (yes, in pink leggings!) to open their weekend. Thanks Paula for the opportunity!

PRIVATE CLASSES | Last year, I had the opportunity to guide these beautiful students, both in person and through online 1:1 private sessions, at different stages of their lives.
Many of them have been my students for years now. I love observing how their practice and their bodies evolve, and knowing that I can contribute to helping them feel better.

Certified by the RIMYI, Pune, India. Regular practitioner of the method for more than 12 years, starting giving classes 7 years ago, taught in Buenos Aires and now in Lisbon. Took regular classes with Beatriz and Paula Tortolano, Delfina Mendoça, Mónica Moya and Marina Chaselon in Buenos Aires and now with Billy Konrad in Lisbon. Assisted to International Seminars with Raya Uma Datta (India), Arun H.S (India), Christian Pisano (France), Faeq Biria (France), Lois Steinberg (USA) and Carrie Owerko (USA). Visited the RIMYI -Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institute-, heart of the Iyengar family, in 2017. Lover of contemporary dance, fully enjoyed freedom of movement in classes with Eugenia Estevez in Buenos Aires and Lucas Condró in Madrid.
She develops her classes looking forward to a greater range of movement and a therapeutic approach of yoga. Understanding the practice as the means to create a strong bond between mind, emotion and body.
About Iyengar Method
Iyengar yoga emphasizes in alignment, body awareness, sequencing and timing. It works the strength and flexibility in the body in the challenge of each asana, what brings health and well-being. Iyengar yoga is also known for its therapeutic approach, ideal to work on discomforts such as sciatica, lumbar or cervical hernias, knees or others. This practice of yoga allows people of different ages, levels of health and physical conditions to take advantage of the benefits that a regular practice can bring to.
