.... Volunteering in a Renovation project ....

Looking for healthy single or couple who enjoy a physically active lifestyle to volunteer long term or for a minimum of one month.

We are a small Co Living Community near the Spa Town of Monchique in the Algarve mountains.

You would enjoy a stunning location, a rustic self contained spacious attic with kitchenette for self catering .... and the use of hot and cold showers in the garden, plus a laundry machine in the mainhouse.

You can enjoy pure mountain spring water, dip in the plunge pool, sauna, vegetable garden and hiking trails up into the mountains.

Only 1km from the town of Monchique with a supermarket, a local weekly market and a selection of cafes.

This is a drug and alcohol free environment.

We would love some help with a variety of building and renovation projects, requiring any of these skills; carpentry, construction skills, stone work and plastering. A desire to learn more skills and an open mind welcome....

You would work for 15 hours per week and are welcome to join our weekly community meeting and gatherings.

There may be a occasional paid work available locally.

Why I love this time of year 🍂🕯️✨🎄🦡

The huge oak moon – the last one of 2024 – reminds me to slow down and embrace the season. By 5 PM, I’m inside, lighting the fire, putting the kettle on, and slipping into my coziest clothes. It’s that perfect time to shift into winter rhythm.

This season is all about bracing hikes, blood-red sunsets, cozy movie nights with the community, and gathering around the table to craft and create.

The decorations are up, and the guest list for Christmas lunch is growing. Our little feral family is a beautiful blend of 6 nationalities, each bringing something special to the table. 🌍 🍽️🔥🥂
