It’s fair to say I’ve had a delicious couple of weeks - firstly cooking with while on retreat in Goa (if you’re ever in S Goa, look him up) and last night for a Vietnamese Street Food cooking class in Islington with we loved every minute of it.

Feeling incredibly grateful today 🙏

Grateful to another gorgeous group of retreaters for joining me in Southern Goa; grateful that we got there and back safely; grateful to the team at Tui for letting me check in my ENORMOUS bag packed with selfcare goodies for everyone (and a few sarongs and yoga gear of course!).

Also super grateful to for the most nourishing calming and grounding ‘Elemental Glow Face Oil’ a powerful antioxidant for us to try out on this retreat and to for your uplifting mint & sandalwood body and face wash which was👌for keeping us feeling and smelling fresh (it was sooo humid!). We also loved the sanitiser - perfect for our hands and our yoga mats with wild peppermint, eucalyptus, lavender and geranium. And to Love Livvy for her gorgeous art work for my bags - DM me if you’d like her details 🧘‍♀️🍸

Spring is .... err ? .. springing in and out, but overall this week has been lovely hasn’t it - so nice be outside.

Well that was a whole lotta hygge fun 🤩

This was my first collaborative retreat with Nicky and .bakery it definitely won’t be the last - if you’d like to join us next time reply below with and we’ll make sure you get first dibs.

We laughed a lot, we walked, we talked we mixed, we kneaded, folded and seeded (and that’s not only the bread 😆). We laughed some more, we got wrapped up and then stripped down we hop-ed in and out of the hot tub, ran into the sea and warmed up in the sauna - we enjoyed restorative yoga and mindful meditation - we made the most beautiful candles (yes of course mine had juniper in it 😉) while sip-ing local gin and zero gins followed by hanging out in PJs reading oracle cards - all in all we’ve had a beautiful ‘hygge’ themed hug of a retreat.

Huge thanks to our lovely partners who helped us make this retreat so special: Lesley our lovely wing woman and Giovanna for the most nourishing colourful and delicious meals and and for sharing their amazing practices with us 🙏💛

We’re still in the year of the snake until 16th Feb - so think about what you can shed and let go of in preparation for the year of the Fire Horse - a year of more energy, movement and travel - three cheers to that - what’s next for you?

On this retreat we’ll enjoy daily yoga in this beautiful open-air shala, along with lounging by this lovely natural pool and switch off for a short while in one of these simply yet beautifully furnished rooms.

We’ll also explore the area with a mountain hike and a trip to Villa Termal das Caldas de Monchique. The natural thermal springs here have been celebrated since Roman times for their therapeutic properties. Not only that, we’ll enjoy a meditation, sound ceremony and cacao session too.

Well, French 75 me! (if you don’t know this one, check it out, utterly delicious if a tad dangerous!) - It’s time to raise a glass to another fun year of Gin & Yin-ing and what a year it has been too - new destinations explored, new and old friends connected, new gins tried and tested and new experiences shared. Sip sip horray to all that.

Best Present Ever??? 2 nights by the sea making sourdough, doing yoga, making a beautiful candle, sitting in the hot tub, enjoying wild sea walks and fireside talks and incredible food - think of this as a Hug in retreat format with me and the wonderful - think all things ‘Hyyge’

This retreat sold out within a week of launching back in August - however due to unavoidable circumstances we now have 1 double bedroom available in the cottage right next to the retreat property which also has sea views.
