It's important to check in with ourselves and assess how much energy, time, and resources we have left to give to others and to ourselves. Sometimes we can get so caught up in our daily tasks and responsibilities that we forget to take care of our own needs.

This is a line from a poem I read this week in our Power Vinyasa Flow Class ( Monday's 18:00). Many of the lines spoke to me but this one really struck a chord - maybe because I was recovering from a not-so-healthy weekend and feeling the full effects of my poor choices 😅

On our journey through life, we sometimes make choices that aren't in the best interest of our well-being. We might neglect self-care by staying up late, convincing ourselves it will be OK, only to wake up groggy and irritable the next day. We skip our meditation sessions, forgetting the peace they bring to our minds. Our bodies patiently wait for movement, yet we spend hours sitting, often lost in the chaos of the day. 🧘‍♀️

And then there are the times when we choose convenience over nourishment, reaching for quick bites instead of taking the time to provide our bodies with wholesome, nutritious meals. We indulge in excess and have a little too much🍷🍻

Despite these ' offences,' our bodies continue to support us, heal us, and provide us with the strength to face each day. This line reminds me to be thankful for our bodies' resilience and forgiveness. It urges us to recognize the unwavering endurance of our bodies, even in the face of our less-than-ideal choices. 🙃

So, let's be kinder to ourselves. Let's mindfully choose actions that promote our physical and mental well-being. Let's make sleep a priority, cherish our meditation time, honour our bodies with movement, and nourish them with love and care.
Let's enjoy life's pleasures in moderation, appreciating the balance between indulgence and what our bodies really need. 🍏

Remember, mindfulness is a powerful tool for overcoming cognitive biases and seeing things more clearly. By staying present and aware, we can make better decisions and live a more fulfilling life.

Yesterday marked the end of my 2 week teaching stint at the incredible which I got to meet some beautiful people and be inspired by their transformational journeys. 🌿🍃🌸

As we concluded the week, we embarked on a mindfulness walk through nature, each mindful footstep guiding us through the wonders of the natural world, connecting with its beauty and serenity. 🚶‍♀️🌳🌞

Along the way, we collected pieces of nature that we wove together, symbolizing the merging of our unique paths coming together as one harmonious masterpiece. 🤝✨ The result was a breathtaking mandala, a true reflection of unity and harmony. 🌀🌼

For me, the mandala represents more than just a creative expression; it embodies a profound meditation piece. 🧘‍♀️🎨 Its central point of stillness continuously draws our wandering minds back to center, mirroring the practice of meditation. 🧭💭 It reminds us to find tranquillity amidst life's distractions and embrace the beauty of being present. 🌟❤️

Mmmm.... how is summer feeling so far my loves? 🌞

Recently we celebrated the summer solstice together with this beautiful workshop I called
In Full Bloom. 🌻

The workshop was about revealing and connecting to our authentic, unapologetic, and empowered selves.

It's about learning how our practice and the philosophy that it's founded on can truly support our moving towards our potential and living our best self.

It's a chance to dive deeper into our practice with a longer masterclass, study the philosophy and take time for some self exploration.

We will end the workshop with a beautiful special guest, Malika The Chanting Queen who will tale us through a Kirtan session so we can find our true voice!

🌻 Let us come together to honour the light-filled potency of the summer solstice and celebrate ourselves In Full Bloom.


🌷 This day is about revealing and connecting to our authentic, unapologetic, and empowered selves.


🌺 We will start the morning with an opening circle and welcome. Followed by a talk on Chakra Empowerment.


🌹 Next, we move into a powerful chakra practice to purify the vessel, ground us, energise our creativity, embrace our sexuality, claim our strength, ignite our inner confidence, open the heart for deeper purpose, connection and passion, and align us to our truth. Putting it all together in an ecstatic dance ceremony to embody our wisdom.

 
🌾 We will then shift into a more nurturing space of relaxation and meditation, before diving into some thought-provoking inner inquiry to awaken the inner light warrior within.

 
🌼 Next, we have an amazing special guest Malika - The Chanting Queen, who will help us connect to our authentic voice through the power of chanting and kirtan.
